I have been a patient of Dr Bhartiya for over three years now. I am now 85 and have been getting regular treatment from her for my Glaucoma since I returned to India from the Philippines in 2022.

In the Philippines I was under treatment for glaucoma for some 22 years and feel that I am adequately qualified to compare the treatment given by my ophthalmologists in the Philippines, in India (including at the Shroff Eye Centre and the Center for Sight in Gurgaon) and by Dr Bhartiya, who was working in Fortis Gurgaon when I first met her in December 2022.

The attention that Dr Bhartiya paid to my eye problems has been far superior to the attention that I got from my other doctors in the Philippines and in India. During all these years I have also observed her patience and excellent crowd management skills when working under pressure. Even when there were many patients, I am particularly pleased to note that there was never any delay of more than 30 minutes in seeing me from my appointment time. Her management skills are well depicted in her ably managing not only the ophthalmology department but also other areas of her work such as for International Institute of Neuro and Spine and the Community Outreach and Wellness programs.

First time I visited Dr Shibal with very high Eye Pressure , red fires eyes and pain in my forehead. I was in distress. Doctor was patient and explained everything in detail. The first test had false positives so she got the retest done FOC and prescribed only essential medicines. She is super confident in what she says which is assuring. Timings were managed well so no long wait time. Overall good experience and will recommend consulting her.
