With over two decades of experience in eye care, Dr Shibal Bhartiya specializes in glaucoma, neuro-ophthalmology, and ocular surface diseases. Currently, she serves as the Clinical Director of Ophthalmology at Marengo Asia Hospitals in Gurgaon, and as Program Director for Community Outreach & Wellness in both Gurgaon and Faridabad; and as Program Director of Marengo Asia Institute of Neuro & Spine, across the country. In addition, she is also a research collaborator with the Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville, to advance innovations in eye care.She is the Executive Editor of the Journal of Current Glaucoma Practice and Editor-in-Chief for both Clinical and Experimental Vision and Eye Research and The Ocular Research Journal. Through her career, she has held leadership roles including Director of Ophthalmology at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Head of Academics and Research at Eye 7 Hospitals, and Senior Clinical Research Fellow at the University of Geneva. As a co-founder of Ufinity Life, an innovative platform that empowers patients with data-driven insights, she works to improve healthcare outcomes through strategic use of patient data and collaborative care. As the founder of Vision Unlimited, she champions initiatives that improve the lives of underserved communities, filling critical gaps in resources and access. She is also a member of the General Body of Bal Raksha Bharat (Save The Children, India), and serves on its program committee.
