Hi All, I am Shobhit Sharma, brought-up in Gurgaon and most of the time of my life till date I have spent in this city. But from last couple of year's I have been shifted to Pune because of professional commitments. Suddenly on 18th Nov morning, when I got up from bed, I was not able to hear properly from my right ear, due to Sunday, I couldn't visit any ENT and Monday morning, I did the same. There were signs of nausea, cough, swelling, infection, etc. ENT Dr. asked me to go through some audiomatery tests and she also requested to go through MRI_Brain to over-rule any tumor possibilities. Post all the tests and everything, she put me on oral steroids and recommended to go through some carbogen therapy. I took a second opinion from Dr. Sachin Handa in Gurgaon through one of my best friends who is also suppose to be a general physician Dr. Kartavya Shah and based on the recommendations, I flew to Gurgaon on Monday night itself and visited Dr. Sachin Handa on Tuesday morning. He did all the check-ups and repeated the PTA test. Post that he explained me every possible aspect around this illness and the success percentages. I agreed and went ahead with first dose of steroid injection on my ear membrane and the next visit of check-up was for Thursday. Till Wednesday night, I was in doubt, in terms of recovery of the same but Thursday morning was all Dr. Sachin's day. I went for repeat PTA and the recovery was 100%. It was a magical moment for me and my family. I don't know, how to convey my thanks to Dr. Sachin Handa for being so positive all the time and motivating me to do my best during my weak moments. Visited for sudden loss in hearing

I had faced sudden hearing issues in my left ear a couple of days back, subsequent to which I discovered that I could barely hear through my left ear, while using the cell phone. It was a bit panicky situation for me and my wife suggested I visit Dr. Sachin Handa immediately. Next day, during my consultation with Dr. Handa, the actual state of hearing surfaced up. I was on the verge of deafness and the doctor told me that, had I delayed the treatment for another 4-5 days, I would have totally lost my capacity to hear through my left ear. I was much relieved that I had visited Dr. Handa’s clinic in time. My tests were done immediately and the Audiological Evaluation Report showed a deafness of 80%. My treatment was started immediately.

Two days later a second test was done which showed some slight improvement. Dr. Handa administered the required medications and was kind enough to call me the next day. I had experienced some significant improvement and that got confirmed during the tests conducted that day. That was my first ray of hope and then started my course of speedy recovery, all thanks to the persistent efforts of Dr. Handa and his constant support and motivation. With the results of my fourth test, my hearing had been completely restored, and I was happily free from deafness. My immense gratitude to Dr. Sachin Handa who acted as a saviour in time for me and saved me from impending deafness.

****** ***** *** **** ** ********** ******** *** ******* ***** ** *** ******* ***** ***** He told us that the treatment for this problem has to be given within 5 days of the episode( sudden hearing loss in left ear) for the nerve to recover.

Since it was the 4th day already we decided to take the treatmen. He gave an injection in the eardrum and he told us that we were to repeat the injection after 3 days if there was any improvement.

I noticed a marked improvement within an hour which slowly got better.

I was really surprised to get a call from the doctor himself the next day to inquire about the progress. When he came to know that there was significant improvement he asked me to come the next day instead of waiting for another day.

I again got the tests done and went back with the reports which showed almost complete recovery. Dr Handa was pleased with the reports and told me that I did not need any more injection. He had also told the testing lab not to charge me for the second tests.

Dear all ! I would really like to refer Dr.Sachin Handa who is an ENT in supermart 1 near Galleria market! I must say he is a gem of person,very genuine and very humble! When no pain killer n nuska helped me in ear pain I found him on practo! He was the one who was available when no other ENT was available as it was a day of EID..** *** ****** **** **** **** *** * ****** ** ******* **** *** *** ** *** ******** ********** ** **** ** ********* **** * told me to visit again after completing medicines,Now another unbelievable situation as now a days almost every hospital is busy in minting money he just said YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSE TO PAY as I have not given any treatment to you today.I mean really? Ye line sune to jamaana beet gya tha.. :-P oh yes I forgot one important sharing On day 1 when I visited him I asked him DO u accept card? As I don't have cash? He said mam u can pay as per your choice n if u have any problem u can pay it later, as a doctor my priority is to heal your ear pain.I was seriously thinking aise log aajkal hote hai? He also treated my husband very humbly n showed him n me my ear condition every time before n after treatment. He is highly recommended! Just felt like sharing :-)
