Dr. Reena Sethi

Dr. Reena Sethi joined Arunodaya Deseret Eye Hospital as Medical Director and started Cataract & Intraocular Lens (IOL) Implant Services, Glaucoma Services and Paediatric Ophthalmology Services. She has been a pioneer in the field of Intraocular Lens Implantation Surgery in India. She has to her accolade several thousands of Ophthalmic Surgeries including Micro Incision Cataract Surgeries (MICS), Phacoemulsification, Complicated Paediatric Cataract surgeries, Glaucoma Surgeries and many others.Dr. Reena Sethi takes a great interest not only in improving techniques and protocols of ophthalmic practices but even in the actual design of the instruments for better performance. Dr. Reena Sethi has won numerous awards and has held prominent positions in several medical societies. She has delivered many key note addresses and presentations at national and international conferences and published papers in journals. She is a senior Ophthalmic consultant to hospitals such as Fortis Memorial Hospital, Gurgaon, and Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, Delhi. She along with Dr. Arun Sethi helped setup the ophthalmic department at Medanta, the Medicity, Gurgaon.
