Pregnancy - Nature's miracle!

Apart from a series of issues of health, Pregnancy is also an emotional calamity of sorts. This widens the role of a physician from being that of a facilitator to that of a friend, confidante and a trusted mentor who is looked up for advice and solace.

Hence, the fundamental requirement of a Profession like gynecologist is intent. I was fortunate to find one such person in my near locality. She had an iron-clad intent to give her best and go an extra mile to make this roller coaster journey for a mother as smooth as possible. That's what she did to me. She made the toughest times EASIER for me by being there not just as a doctor but as a friend too.

I will forever be indebted to Doctor Rachna Singh for traveling with me throughout!

With Dr Rachna, the doors were open 24*7 (through phone calls, text messages and whatsapp) and weren't just restricted to consultancy visit hours at the hospital. Infact it's almost 2.5 months now after my C-section and the doors are still open! Yes! It's true! To the storm of questions that plagued my mind through the journey, a reassuring smile and comforting answers awaited me throughout pregnancy, even in odd hours.

Towards the end my ride became a trickier one. I went for my routine ultrasound. The Doppler ultrasound. Reports weren't in my favor. My Nutrition wasn't reaching the baby. The situation demanded foresight to see the unseen. During the time, I felt Dr. Rachna brought her entire experience to every conversation we had! It was planned to take the baby out immediately i.e. at the end of 34th week.

At first things were frightening. Situation looked dicey. But not after seeing the confidence in her eyes. It was like she knew the right and was ready to leave no stone unturned to get us out of the situation and plan the safest possible landing for the baby. Instructions were given to all concerned persons. Preparations were done in no time. She packed all our tensions, took it with her and asked us to relax and plan baby's welcome, though she herself was up all night and was in continuous touch with the hospital staff to know all my reports. Decisions were made and reviewed every hour on the basis of what the reports said.

Things were more challenging than the tension captured in these words but the trust we developed in her in previous months became the oar of the boat we all were sailing.

I was operated the next morning as planned by her and my operation theatre experience was as fun as a movie theater!! Hats off to the whole team! For the case involved complications, the team was loaded with extreme responsibilities but my doctor stood still to make sure none of the tensions reached me. The pounding heart that made my pulse rate reach 130 could have made things difficult. During operation I was entertained in unique ways the whole time to bring my increasing pulse rate under control and the results were superb too!

In minutes I saw the most beautiful sight of the world! I heard the most mesmerizing sound on the planet! My Baby's.... All safe and sound!

I have visited Dr. Rachna Singh in a situation where me and wife were really scared, as our previous doctor and Ultrasound doctor told us that there are so many complications with the pregnancy. As per them the Fluid was very less and there was no blood flow from Mother to the child, placenta is down and that we will have to go for a premature delivery after giving the steroids to my wife. We were really scared, when one of our friend referred us to Dr. Rachna Singh from CK Birla Hospital, Gurgaon.

We went to Dr. Rachna Singh for just a second opinion and me and wife were finally able to breathe freely, when after the ultrasound report she told us that everything is normal and that there is a 90% chance of a normal delivery. We were very relaxed and everything went smooth. Dr. Rachna Singh is one of those people (not calling her doctor now, cuz in need to be a good doctor, you first need to be a good person), who respect human life more than stealing money out of patient's pocket.

Not only she gave her 200% in making sure that everything goes smooth for me and my wife during pregnancy and delivery. At the time of emergency, she picked up my call in first ring at 5.00 am in the morning and within 30 minutes, everyone starting from her to the ultrasound doctor and all the required staff was there to take care of my wife. I was very scared when my wife's water broke, but Dr. Rachna Singh and her team made it look so easy and even though I was scared, I was relaxed that my wife and baby were in good hands. I am so thankful to Dr. Rachna not just for helping me, cuz I am pretty sure its her nature and she helps everyone, but for being a really nice Human Being who respects Human Life over Money.

May God fulfill all her wishes and gives her a strong will to keep on doing what she is doing, cuz she is already is a nice person and doing an amazing job.

It was such an amazing experience with Dr Rachna, since my conception and the journey continues..!! It was my first pregnancy and I was not aware of so many things and quite worried about it but it was only her who handled me so nicely and helped me to accept and understand the things. Dr. Rachna ** *** ** *** **** ******* ****** who take time out to actually listen to their patients and give the best advice.

She is always available to her patients and makes proper arrangements for them even if she is going out for a day (and she makes sure to call you back if she misses your call).

She made sure not to push me for anything, that I was not comfortable with, during both my pregnancies and deliveries. Dr . Rachna is my ‘go to’ person for any health related issues as well as to keep me sane during my unsure/panicky times like labour.

Day 1 when I visited her I was so satisfied that I made a decision that I would get my baby delivered from her. Imagine getting convinced on day 1 (by the way I am one person who is scared of getting injected).

She is very quick in responding to my messages and was readily available in hospital whenever we required her guidance. Being my first pregnancy I was very excited and was scared to. Initially I went to a different doctor and the experience was very bad, but then when met Dr. Rachna Singh she made my whole journey of 9 months so amazing. Her smiling face, her way of explaning ever details of my pregnancy stages with proper direction, her continuous follow up on test results and medication, her letting you know the treatment that she will be performing on current week and the following week , her way of encouraging you in every stage, her way of making you feel relax no matter how serious the issue is.
