Dr. Priyanka Puri

I visited Smile Xpertz recently to take opinion of Dr. Priyanka on my horizontally placed lower wisdom tooth, sensitive teeth and some dental fillings. Doctor explained my teeth issues in detail along with the required treatments and future oral hygiene. Based on her suggestion, I went for root canal and wisdom tooth extraction surgery. It was my first surgery so far and I was little scared especially because another surgeon was performing it, but doctor calmed me down with her friendly nature and jokes. Of course there was slight discomfort and swelling post the surgery for a few days and that is usual, but her prescribed medicines really helped. I was in regular touch with the doctor on call/whatsapp throughout the recovery process, and everything went smooth. There was a slight delay in my root canal cap fitting due to a measurement issue, but doctor ensured that I receive the cap on time and specially opened her clinic for me on a holiday as I had a flight to catch. Overall I highly recommend the doctor and her staff (especially Doctor Shalini) who were equally friendly and supportive. I will be moving out of India and doctor assured that I can reach out to her for any kind of dental issue anytime and from any place. Really appreciate the kindness. Thank you doctor.

Dr. Priyanka explains the issues, treatments and causes really well. She takes time to listen to patient issues and provides clear guidance and solutions. Highly recommend. The support staff is also very polite and helpful.

My experience at SMILE EXPERTZ had been excellent ! Dr Priyanka Puri had been instrumental in making the visit and the treatment very smooth , painless and full of information . The root canal was done swiftly in 2 visits with 3rd short visit for fixing the ceramic tooth. Dr Priyanka’s team took pains by inquiring my dental health regularly during the course of treatment though regular phone calls . They made sure I am satisfied to the T.

Horrible experience of the RCT treatment done by Dr. Priyanka. It took 20 sittings over 4 months to get one RCT treatment completed for Rs. 28,000! The initial treatment wasn’t done properly, it was in a rush and with a hard hand so it led to a lot of bleeding and pain. *** ********** **** ***** *********** *** **** ******* *** ** **** *** **** ****** **** ** **** ** ****** **** ** ******** None of the doctors have ever mentioned it to me for anything I got done earlier. After the third sitting when the cap was fitted, i got a lot of pain and had to get it removed. Dr. Shalini (junior doctor) took over to do the treatment again as some infection was not removed by Dr. Priyanka earlier. Again it took multiple sittings, soreness, bleeding and pain to get the treatment completed. During the treatment, one of my adjacent tooth developed sensitivity and had to be treated as well. They took the complete mouth/teeth impression four times but every time the cap was flat or too high. *** ******* *** **** ******* **** ***** *** ******** *** *** ******** **** ** *** ******** *** *** **** Treatment had started in November 2021 and the final cap has been fitted after mid March 2022. They kept mentioning their financial losses due to multiple sittings and caps, however, the physical, mental trauma and financial loss they’ve caused to me is beyond anything they incurred. Over these 4 months, both doctors recommended RCT for my other cavity too even though there was no pain and both kept criticizing health and color of my teeth *** **** ********* ***** *********** I visited another dental clinic two days ago *** *** ****** ********* *** ***** ******* ** *** * ****** ****** ******* ** ***** ****** ******** *** ****** ********* *** ********* *********** Overall, it was a pathetic experience at SmileExpertz and I’d not recommend this clinic to anyone. No smiles and no experts!!

My sister consulted in this clinic and got her cap fixed just before shifting abroad. Just 2 months after the cap fixation and shifting abroad, her cap came off and she had to get it fixed in the US temporarily. On arriving in India for vacation, she consulted them again and was told that cap was fixed now and it will not come off. Just after she went back again, her cap has again come off within days. She had to again consult in USA and we were told by doctors there that the cap size is improper and it hasn’t been fixed properly and that is why it keeps coming off.

While we consulted them the first time the cap came off, there was so much cover up. First of all, during the multiple visits that my sister made, most of the time the above mentioned doctor was not available but her junior performed all the treatment. After we consulted them regarding the cap coming off, ***** *** ** **** ** *********** *********** ***** ****** ****** ******* *** *** ****** *** ** ******* ****.

Instead of talking too much, they should focus on actual patient concerns and accept their fault. They kept giving various reasons regarding my sisters tooth but the issue we had was the cap coming off and ultimately it came off again!

Our money was unnecessarily spent here because we had to spend it again in the US which was more costly. Had we not relied on them, it would have saved our time and money, *** ** ****** *** ************* **** ** ****** *** ** ** ******* ******** *** ********** *** ** *** **** **********

She said there are 10 cavities with 2 teeth needing new crowns, and the need to remove wisdom teeth which had so many cavities that they they were beyond repair. Total bill coming to 50k. Visit charge was 4K just for cleaning and x ray.

Secondly, she also said teeth had fluorosis and were chalky in nature whatever that means. On top of that she advised getting braces to correct for frontal teeth slightly jutting out. I later found out that this is cosmetic in nature and weakens teeth. If the teeth are “chalky” as per the doc, won’t braces weaken it further!

I visited Smile Xpertz for a fractured tooth. Upon inspection, I learned I had excess decay therefore I'd require RCT and a crown. Dr Priyanka explained me the process behind RCT and fitting of a crown descriptively and explained all the available options for crowns as well answered any questions I had with ease.

I was initially scared of the procedure, but Dr Priyanka was friendly, easygoing and caring about the patient. I never felt any noticeable pain from the procedure for the most part, and was pretty relaxed. The staff was also caring and checked up on me frequently after treatment, to see if I was facing any issues. Any issues I had were quickly resolved, without any trouble. The procedure plan was also made such that comfort would remain the top priority.

Friendly staff. Was explained everything very patiently. Went with a fractured tooth in the front and also had pain in back region of my jaw and i came to know that my wisdom was decayed and hitting on the tooth in front of it. They adviced me to get my wisdom tooth extracted and fractured could be mend by a procedure called veneering. Extraction was done expertly without pain as the Clinic's name says it all😃😃.. Also my front tooth has been repaired. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a quality treatment in a reasonable price.

Firstly, the entire team is very proactive to maintain the overall hygiene - this was really important for me esp during COVID times as my treatment was spread over multiple sittings and risk of exposure was high.

Secondly, Dr. Puri (along with her team) is a thorough professional who is extremely good at her job. She went at length to detail out the diagnosis and created a roadmap for my treatment - which included RCTs, fillings, extraction and polishing. I am really thankful to the person who referred me to Dr Puri (And hence I am writing this review to hopefully guide other people in distress). The entire team is very patient and always made me feel at ease at all times. The efficacy of the treatment was really high as I am satisfied with the end results.

I will surely be visiting Dr. Puri for my routine checkups henceforth and would highly recommend the clinic to everyone.
