Dr. Jasjeet S Wasir is presently Consultant at the Division of Endocrinology and Diabetes at the prestigious Medanta The Medicity at Gurugram. He has done his formal medical training from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Maulana Azad Medical College and University College of Medical Sciences. He is a primary faculty at the Center for Advanced Diabetes Therapy and Technology. Dr. Jasjeet has nearly 10 years of experience in the field of diabetes and metabolic diseases. Under the able guidance of Dr Ambrish Mithal he is spearheading the weight management programme at Medanta. His areas of expertise include weight management (Obesity) diabetes and heart attack risk factor assessment/control primary prevention of heart attack/diabetes newer and advanced therapy for diabetes management of complicated diabetes and in special situations like post transplant diabetes thyroid disorders PCOD etc. He has numerous publications in various high impact international national medical journals and has presented his original work at national and international forums.
