It's very nice experience of painless tooth extraction and you can definitely trust on doctor & the team.

I came across about this clinic by one of my colleague. I had pain in my wisdom tooth since so many years. And the thought of extracting it horrified me & I was just deferring it. But when I met Dr. Gaurav Gupta, I developed confidence and trusted him because of the woderful counselling & motivating me. I'm happy that nothing bad or painful was experienced by me at Chikitsa Dental. I got my wisdom tooth extracted and it was painless. More over instruction told by them really simple post extraction.

I was in deep pain because of rotten wisdom tooth which was also trapped in gums. Dr. Gupta advised for surgery for it's removal. Initially I was hesitant and afraid of pain, but had no other choice. But to my surprise the surgery was totally painless, after local anaesthesia shot I didn't feel anything all. ***** ***** kudos to Dr.Gaurav Gupta & team.

I visited Dr.Gaurav Gupta for severe pain in my tooth, appointment scheduling was easy & got quick appointment n emergency. I had a root canal and had no pain at all. They explained all costs and procedures beforehand, which helped avoid any surprise fees. Truly grateful for the professional care and amazing results.

I had a very pleasant experience with Dr. Gaurav Gupta. He is highly professional, patient, and explains every procedure clearly, which really builds confidence. The appointment was on time and smooth, and the consultation fee felt reasonable for the care provided. I would definitely recommend him for excellent dental care.

I had abscess build at the root of my molar tooth which had root canal already done.So It was a case of RCT failure. I was taking antibiotics but pain only aggrevated. Helpless, I looked up for best dentists at practo. With amazing reviews I found Dr Gaurav.

He immediately suggested me to remove the cap to relieve pain and start with strong antibiotics, which indeed helped and I had developed some faith and followed his advice for re RCT as abscess increased further.

In one of the canals, Broken file was detected (but it was not the infected canal.)

Long story short , My case was being handled by his assistant. (Which I was hesitant to, given the pain which caused me several sleepless nights.)

I must admit Both Mr Gaurav and his assistant were dedicated, very patient in listening to me and explaining me the problem.

But here comes the part which caused me a bad experience:

His assistant used a drill+file like instrument with a kind of lubricant I guess (a part of process) and used in a canal with broken file with a good intention to extract it , but instead ended up breaking it further and causing an internal tooth fracture after a while, as it became weak. Being science student, even I thought what would happen if this rotating drill like thing pierces a metal file? but was silent trusing the doctor.

Second thing, She took around 9, 10 X-ray to reach to a conclusion that I have broken file in one of the canals, which looked odd and I later confirmed from another dentist too.He said 3-5 x rays max are enough in most dental procedures.

Towards the end Dr Gaurav told me to come for last sitting but there may not be good chance of tooth survival.

So, I preferred second opinion to Dr Vimal Kalia in Panchkula. He told me about dental fracture and abscess still there and that it needs to be extracted to avoid further complication.

He told me that if it was not fractured , he would have done episectomy, but now its not worth it.

I went back to Dr Gaurav if some refund is possible for skipping the Sealing session of Re RCT. He denied it and offered discount on implant.

So To summarize :

Mistakes do happen,but, I would have been glad if Dr Gaurav would have taken over my case when the complication was detected, because I came to him after seeing his reviews ,paying good amount of fee but was not treated by him. As I am young I absolutely hated it to lose one important tooth because of negligence on whomsoever side.

I was not very satisfied with my natural teeth colour and shape . My teeth alignment was also not pleasant look wise & I had some gaps between teeth. I belong to a fluoride affected area so my teeth were brownish. Have been visiting dentists for quiet some time now and got many advises like go for teeth whitening or composite layering. Underwent composite layering once but it lasted for a little time. I got to know about this chikitsa dental clinic and Dr.Gaurav Gupta, visited here and met with him. He checked my case thoroughly and advised me for ceramic veneers. With very simple words and diagrams he made the whole procedure understandable for me. He also assured me of minimum life of veneers to be ten years subjected to good oral hygiene maintenance and carefully using it. I find it effective look wise , also cost wise. Agreed for it and went ahead with the treatment.Whole procedure took almost a weeks time. Very comfortable and completely painless. **** ******** ******* Now I got my new teeth and smile. I was having stained front teeth and one of the tooth was broken also. Earlier I got my fractured crown built up & bleaching done for teeth whitening at some clinic in Pune. But after bleaching I had lots of sensitivity issues and pain for few days. After around a year the built up crown got fractured again & other teeth also became stained again. Later I moved to Gurgaon & one of my colleagues who got many treatments done at Chikitsa Dental suggested me to go there. At Chikitsa, Dr. Gaurav Gupta suggested me for ceramic veneers and explained everything in detail about them. He was very transparent in his dealing and clearly disclosed all the possible problems & complications along with the treatment benefits. I found the doctor very professional & ethical for my dental treatment. He started the treatment and everything was done in 2-3 visits over a period of 10 days. Now I have a bright and confident smile with no pain or sensitivity issues. Thanks a lot to Dr.Gaurav for the great work.

I'm writing the review for dr. Gaurav for the second time. This one goes out from the bottom of my heart, He is the most awesome doctor I have come across. *** **** ** ** ************ *** ******** he also has an amiable and enthusiastic personality. Very detailed in approach and provides solution to the point. There is no beating around the bush with him. He never backs out in resolving issues of his patients. 1st time I consulted him for my mother, this time I consulted him for plaque, sensitivity and teeth corrosion issues which I had been facing for past few months and as usual, he quickly provided simple solution. His fees is nominal and he prescribes relevant medication and that too if only required. His staff is also great and competent. Clinic is very much hygienic.

Apart from all of this, I needed an urgent help as I was looking for docs of a particular speciality and he went out of his way to provide quick info.
