By choosing Dr. Deepika Sood as our gynaecologist, we truly made the best decision of our entire pregnancy journey.

When we found out we were expecting, we spent days researching on Google and Practo, and her name kept coming up with positive recommendations. Today, after completing my pregnancy under her care, I can confidently say we were absolutely right.

From the very first consultation, she stood out. She is exceptionally polite, calm, understanding, and listens to every doubt with genuine patience—something that’s rare these days when many doctors seem rushed. One of the biggest comforts was how approachable she was throughout the pregnancy. Whether it was a WhatsApp message or a quick call, she always responded, especially during critical or confusing moments.

She was extremely proactive with all kinds of monitoring—iron levels, thyroid, calcium, Vitamin D, UTI indicators, you name it. During my pregnancy, I developed a UTI and even started getting mild contraction-like pains around the 6th month. Thanks to her continuous guidance and immediate interventions, both situations were handled smoothly and never escalated.

Now coming to my birth story:

I am genuinely thankful to her because I had a normal delivery without an epidural, despite my sonography showing two loops of cord around the baby’s neck. As a first-time mom, I never imagined I could go through that level of labor pain or even deliver normally in such a scenario. At one point in the middle of labour, I completely gave up and asked for a C-section. But she gently asked me to pause, think again, and trust the process.

I’ve heard so many stories of doctors quickly opting for C-sections because it’s faster and easier for them, but Dr. Deepika is different. She genuinely cares, and she truly tries for a normal delivery whenever possible. And because of that, I experienced something I never thought I was capable of.

In short: If you’re looking for a gynaecologist, don’t think twice. Just go ahead and consult Dr. Deepika Sood. You’ll be in the safest and most compassionate hands.

I have been consulting with Deepika ma'am for almost 3 yrs now. Thanks to her constant support throughout this period, I finally had a baby on 13th May 2021.

My pregnancy journey had been full of unwanted events. First was a spontaneous miscarriage around 3 yrs back. I was with a different gynae at that time and although she was knowledgeable and well sought after, the overall experience made me realize that going forward I would need more personal support from my doctor. After recovery, I researched and chose to consult Deepika ma'am for the way forward. I was badly traumatized by the miscarriage and was feeling down. But the first meeting itself provided me the much needed uplifting. She listened to my rant patiently and answered all my questions. I followed up with her for next year but as fate would have it, this too ended in a miscarriage. It broke me to the core and I started blaming anyone and everyone for it. But she talked me through and gave me the belief that there was nothing wrong with me or my husband and that these things happen naturally (in fact these are more common than we think they are). It was her encouragement only that gave me the strength to plan again. She took extra care of me and prescribed tests, medicines, injections, diet plan, Dos & Don'ts in daily life etc. as and when needed. As a result there was no early miscarriage third time around. But unfortunately, I developed Gestational Diabetes around 3rd month of the pregnancy. She kept a close watch and worked with an endocrinologist to keep me and my baby safe. Her well-planned tests also caught a dip in my iron levels timely which could've harmed the baby. In the 9th month I contracted Covid. It was a really bad time for Delhi-NCR and despite being overworked (as she was supporting many patients of her infected gynae friends as well), she provided me with all the guidance to navigate the uncertainties surrounding Covid and pregnancy. One specific instance I would like to quote when baby's movements were declining for a day. I panicked but I couldn't get a USG or NST done due to my Covid +ve status. She understood my anxiety and called some personal favors to arrange an NST for my baby within few hours. She even followed up after that by herself. I have never seen/heard a doctor help out at this level despite being stressed herself.

I was adamant for a normal delivery but these complications and my weight gained during pregnancy (~90 kg) meant it was difficult. She clearly told me about the various scenarios but she didn't give up on me and encouraged for a normal delivery. Owing to my religious beliefs, I wanted the delivery on a specific day. She accommodated my request and planned the induced delivery accordingly. The D-Day was c*azy. I knew that labor pain is much to take but didn't know this much! A night before delivery she kept constant contact with on-duty staff for my developments and was always available to us over phone. When the time came, she reached quickly to perform the delivery. I have seen cases in family where doctors delegated the delivery to someone else because they were busy elsewhere. But not her. She was always there for us and I can't tell you how comforting it was in those moments. There were some complications during the delivery but she handled them well and now our bundle of joy is healthy and already 2 months old :) .

Thank you ma'am for your support all this time. I don't think without your medical and mental support I could be the happy mother I am today.

I strongly recommend her to all those planning for parenthood.

P.S.: Sometimes there can be long wait periods at the clinic but that is because her patients like to talk to her and she gives ample time to every patient :) (though emergency cases are considered on priority)

It was 1st March 2017 , when my husband and family was thrilled with joy to hear the arrival of second baby after 10 year gap. Our joy seemed no boundaries especially for my daughter who always wanted a sibling.I was advised to see Doctor Deepika Sood by many of my friends so went to show her.I was Mesmerised by her simplicity,focus and dedication.She made us realised that it never too late..We were advised for MIPT Test to check the abnormality in fetus and in Gangaram Hospital .We were very happy with her consultation but someone advised to take second opinion so went to Cloud Nine Doc Witty Raina.The doctor seemed so stereotyped with very less sense of responsibilty..I had clearly stated 10 gap in pregnancy had made me forget everything of my last pregnancy so treat me like a first pregnancy .My 5th month was running and MIPT report was just fine.It didnt make me realise that I have stopped consulting Doc Deepika Sood *** ******* ** *** ***** ***** which was my biggest mistake**** ******** ** **** *** ***** ******* *** **** ************ *** *********** ** ****Later in mid of 7th month LFT test was conducted and which highlighted Bile Acid in LFT was on very higher side.As I had no issues in my 1st pregnancy it was hard to believe that there could some issues this time.Doctors casual approach in every visit didnt make me ponder much.My ultrasound reports was not thouroughly checked Baby movement Graph was not proper but it was ignored,As a layman we do not have an idea, 32 weeks was running and routine visit just a week back was done .My bile acid last report was 168 ***** ****** *** ** **** **** ** ** ********* *** *** ***** ***** *** *** **** ** ********** *** ****** **** ** **** ********* ** **** ******** ** ******** ****** *** *** *** **** ** **** **********My movements were happening on intervals .On 21st Nov 2017 I realised labour pain and rushed to hospital.There was no movement in ultrasound.It was IUD intra uterine demise Due to excessive bile acid.*** ***** ***** **** no suggestion of getting cesarian done no signs of alarms was raised when bile acid was so high ** **** ****** ********* ******** ** *** *********** ******* *** ***** *** ******* ** ** ********* ***** *** **** ******* **** ***** ************* ** *****I had lost my precious baby...and was devastated..I was told "huge showers of bile acid happend in placenta In night causing minimal oxygen for baby to survive" How would i know as a mother .Our happiness was shattered in pieces But God is kind I was pregnant again in Feb 2019 and this time i went straight to Doc Deepika Sood She took my file for 15 days took various opinion and advised me this is gods blessing She educated me every stage and in 7th month advised me LFT every week In the mid of 7th month my baby movement was going slower she immediately asked me to get admitted checked LFT which was risen from 4 to 68 in last 4 days and did ceasarian same night without taking any chances in 7.5 month, 30 weeks of pregnancy I gave birth to baby girl.She was so sure of her medical knowledge,kept on consulting at every stage with her seniors.I total admire her professionalism,She realised my case was different took steps when it was required to save my pregnancy Not only that she kept visiting every week to check the progress of baby and was with us till discharge.I cant express.my gratitude in words she was truly blessing in dusguise.I will strongly recommend her.Blessing in disguise. In conclusion, I cannot recommend Dr. Deepika Sood highly enough to any expectant mother in search of a caring and competent gynecologist. Thanks to her expertise and support, my pregnancy journey was not only safe and smooth but also filled with warmth and reassurance. Dr. Sood truly goes above and beyond for her patients, and I am grateful to have had her by my side every step of the way.

I was under Dr Deepika Sood's care since May 2017 and gave birth to a healthy baby boy in Dec at the age of 40.

My previous pregnancy ended in an intra uterine death due to chromosomal defects. I had a horrific experience dealing with supposedly high profile doctors in one of India's top hospital chains. Naturally, this time I was desperately looking for a compassionate doctor. I decided to visit Dr. Sood after checking out her profile on Practo. She seemed compassionate, and thankfully for once, appearance wasn't deceptive.

Dr. Sood's biggest asset is that she is calm and reassuring. I worry too much about things but her demeanor actually helped me relax. I now know that a nice bedside manner is really important in your doctor :)

She gives a lot of time to each patient and does not hurry through the appointment.

There were some other unexpected advantages of choosing Dr. Sood which I have listed here:

1) I visited her clinic, hence less wait times and stress-free visits compared to hospitals.

2) Her references for tests/ultrasounds turned out to be equally competent and compassionate. And they were inexpensive. Last time, the doctors insisted on all tests and ultrasounds done from the same hospital only. Trust me when I say that it was way more expensive that way and I have done the math.

3) I'd never even had stitches before, and here I was about to go through a c section. At the operation theatre I was suddenly terrified. The good doctor kept talking to me throughout and her calm voice actually helped me get through the whole thing. For other expecting mothers out there, this is one aspect you may not consider while choosing your doctor but believe me when I say that the bedside manner actually does matter.

This is my personal experience with Dr. Deepika Sood's " Chirayu Gynae & Heart clinic ".During my treatment or i would rather say during my ante natal care mam guided n took care of me very nicely...she is very much friendly so i didn't hesitate anytime to ask anything and any number of times..moreover the way she guided me regarding my diets is very appreciating..i had shown to many doctors with whom i wasn't satisfied .So my husband went through mam's details in practo and we decided to meet her ...i showed my USG reports and treatment of previous doctors, the thing i observed that deepika mam studied my USG images nicely instead of only relying on the reports given by radiologist..and she cleared my doubts and queries properly.. she gave me sufficient amount of time guiding me and giving advises regarding my diet and lifestyle which i should modify little in more better way as it is my first pregnancy. i would strongly recommend Dr. deepika sood as i am very much satisfied with her selfless service which she has offered me in odd times too.

I am writing about my experience of delivering a beautiful baby boy, just a week ago, under the guidance of Dr. Deepika Sood. Our journey with her started in July 2020 when after months of trying to have a baby, we landed up in her clinic. Took reference from Practo and reviews on Practo. From day 1, doctor was very calm and positive towards our case and was sure that we will conceive without any concerns. Where other doctors had started suggesting ultrasounds and additional meditation, dr. Deepika Sood on the other hand just wanted us to not take any stress. We conceived naturally in August. Throughout these 9 months, doctor was always approachable. She is a very good listener and is one of the most polite doctors I have met. I was never prescribed any additional u/s or med. Just the essentials. Everything was fine till we came to know that the baby has 2 tight loops around the neck and a natural delivery could be difficult. We were always scared of a c-sec delivery and we conveyed the same to doctor as well. Fortunately, dr was on the same page as us. She wanted us to wait for natural pains to kick in, and we got admitted on 6th May. On the eve of 7th May, my baby arrived via vacuum delivery. It is very uncommon for doctors to go ahead with natural delivery when the baby is in such a situation, but dr. Sood’s expertise and confidence made it possible for us to avoid a c-sec delivery. I would recommend her to all the couples who are looking for correct guidance and support in their journey of welcoming a baby to their lives.

We recently visited Dr. Deepika for my mother’s consultation and were overall satisfied with the advice and suggestions provided. The doctor *** ************* *** addressed our concerns well when asked.

One small area for improvement could be around proactively sharing more details about the treatment process and possible causes, even before questions are raised. While we understand that time can be limited, a brief overview of what to expect or what to keep in mind would be very helpful for patients, especially those who may not know the right questions to ask.

This feedback is purely constructive and intended with respect we truly appreciate the care provided and believe that with a little more proactive communication, the experience can be even better.

Immediately, i was asked if i’m okay with a test which i agreed to and was informed of a higher price.
