Dr. Aalok Anand

The doctor was very supportive and patient, and I felt heard during the consultation. However, I faced issues with the clinic’s management. Despite having a genuine prescription, I struggled to get medicines from medical stores due to concerns about clarity and dosage. I had to consult another doctor to obtain medicines from their pharmacy, causing delay and inconvenience. The clinic should improve prescription clarity and consider having an in-house pharmacy.

I am grateful to have come for the therapy with Dr. Anand, he is a great listener and empathetic soul.. very thorough and experienced that could understand the problem within a short while and a few descriptions.

In the process, he allows the patient some time for some self-reflection with multiple spiritual and walking activities to implement for the patient to naturally raise certain chemicals in the brain with a lifestyle change. He as well adviced me before the next visit to make a few tiny steps to deal with the big problems ..like befriending a stray dog, distributing chocolates and seeing the problem from a different perspective.

I would suggest to not make a pre-judgment during your visits and allow the therapy some time to show its effect. On my 2nd and third visit, I could see the change in me and understand the reasons for said suggestions. He is very friendly and explained the problem in my words with simple funny examples.

I would highly recommend the doctor for any kind of mental issues. Very experienced and kind. I am healing and still reach out to him for any concerns.

Doctor is experienced from his age and professional background. He believes in treating the patient with therapies and less medicines.

But he keeps on talking himself all the time and does not listen to the patient. he does not examines the patient nor he listens to their concerns, just keeps on giving his point of view and opinions. He did not even ask me my actual concerns for which i went there.

After coming out of the room i was feel more frustrated and dissatisfied because the patient does not get to talk which is the main reason of depression .

I recently visited Dr. for mental health support but left feeling unheard and unsupported. The doctor's lack of attentiveness, irrelevant suggestions, and personal religious beliefs intruding into the conversation were disappointing. Moreover, some of the advice given was potentially offensive, further diminishing my trust in the consultation. For healthcare professionals, especially in psychiatry, it's crucial to prioritize active listening, empathy, and evidence-based practices to ensure the well-being and trust of their patients. I hope this feedback serves as an opportunity for improvement, leading to better care for those seeking mental health support. Also, these session in a calm and private space. It was a noisy place where one could easily hear every word.

I recommend Dr. Aalok Anand. The doctor was attentive and made me feel comfortable during the visit.

Dr. Aalok Anand is very experienced and calm, and provides good treatment. The clinic environment and staff were fine. However, I felt that the consultation fees were higher compared to others.

Dr. Alok is good but the only problem is the time constraint. I don't know hospital fixes it or the doctor. they have very rigid time slot of 30 min. In this 30 min, patient has to tell his/her story, doctor has to counsel, give treatment, do's/don'ts. which is not possible.

so, he tells you to speak less and listen to him because there is a time constraint.

A person who is already feeling depressed because somewhere he/she is feeling loneliness, may be he/she is not able to find anyone who can listen to him/her and understand, that he/she decided to visit a psychiatrist as a last resort and that psychiatrist also don't let you speak and tells you listen to me only.

there is no bad feeling more than this. I was numb after visiting him. because I couldn't release my stress and all I got a validation on that I'm depressed".

Again, I don't know who is responsible for the time constraint.

I like the doctor, only if he could give more time was required.

I have met many psychiatrists, not all are as good as him.

May the doctor or management pays a little attention on this concern, it would be more helpful.

Dr Alok Anand is a friendly psychiatrist. He is humble and gentle person. He understands the case very diligently and his conversation are driven by relatable examples. I would strongly recommend him to generalised anxiety disorder patients. He also provides good medicins.

I contacted Dr. Alok when I was feeling stressed and very low in life. He is an expert in his field and also very observant to figure out the actual problem . He explained everything and the medicines with how each works. He prescribed what is necessary only and didnt gave so many medicines like other doctors. His crisp solutions helped me a lot. He also explained the treatment timeframe. I am really very happy to finally found a doctor who I can trust and know that he will give me only what is necessary, not like other doctors who full you with loads of medicine and try to stretch the treatment for eternity. Thanks to Dr. Alok for all the help and guidance he provided.

I had a 3 month old whom I was feeding when I visited the doctor. Due to changes in sleep pattern and other personal anxiety issues my sleep had gone for a toss completely. I was not being able to sleep even when the kid was asleep. When I visited the doctor I was very skeptical about any kind of medicinal treatment. But not only did he advised me ways to tackle my issues but also consoled and made me understand the importance of having a medicine at that point in time. Over great doctor, listens to you and treats you with his wisdom.
