Dr Beena Bansal was director, Endocrinology at Medanta, the Medicity, Gurgaon where she has made a mark not just through a compassionate approach towards all her patients in clinic, but through innovative ideas in the use of technology in patient care. Her work on inpatient diabetes management, polycystic ovary syndrome, gestational diabetes, vitamin D, and osteoporosis is published in reputed journals. She has been working passionately to empower the young patients with type 1 diabetes patients through her society called Saksham-a Type 1 diabetes Welfare Society.
