Dr. Balbir Singh

Well I would like to say that Dr.Balbir and his team is best at what they do and what they promise. We met the doctor in 'Medanta the medicity'. Doctor is very busy everyday and you should not go without appointments. It is very crowded and you need to literally wait for hours if you do not have an appointment. Dr.Balbir is very experienced . I took my mother to Doctor Balbir, because my mother was suffering from Takaysu Arteritis she has blockages in various major arteries. Before coming to the doctor Balbir we had also shown to many of the doctors and none of the doctor wanted to do angioplasty and there was a huge risk of life loss involved in it. But Dr.Balbir said he will put stunts in my mothers' body in various arteries and she would be fine. We were really happy as after so much of bad news atlas somebody said that she could recover. Doctor decide to place overall six stunts in my mothers body 4 one at a time and 2 more stunts after the gap on 3 months. To which we agreed.

My mother got admitted in the hospital after the date given by the doctor. The operations were very risky and i would say that doctor and their team are expert in their work. And both the time operation was success full. Now mother had 6 stunts in her body. I was happy with the doctor and his efforts. But i would also like to give one suggestion that only doing the partial job is not the complete job. It would have been great as the doctor already knew that my mother has okays Arteritis, so after the angioplasty they should have recommended any good Rheumatologist so that no further stunting was required and from that time proper treatment could have started. But as i said these people are best in their field so may be short of time.

Also i was unhappy with the way the patient is treated after the surgery. Immediately after the surgery when my mother was still in the bath lab, there was no body to inform that what has happened and what further steps needs to be taken. Because this is not just the blockages it is due to certain disease due to which these blockages are occurring and re-occuring. So keeping in mind patient's health a complete guidance should be provided to the patient. Also it is very difficult to talk to the doctor and his secretary also does not have any proper info. So i would definitely recommend doctor Balbir to everybody has as he is one of the experts in the country. But a little more care for their patient would have been more helpful. This is the reason i gave three stars would have been definitely five stars if all the above are taken care.

I visited him yesterday for my sister at Max Saket. Doctor didn't attend to us patiently and cordially.Didn't ask about what happened nothing , neither did he explained about the disease. Didn't ****** ** even check any ecg n other test details.Didn't gave us more than 3-4 mins. Also didn't ****** ** explain anything at all just go through this procedure. ** ********** ************ ******* **** ********* ******* ************ ********* ******* *** ****** *** *** ******. when asked a few questions about anything related to issue he got irritated and wasn't interested in answering either. **** ***** ** *** ********** ** ********* *** ***** *** ** **** *** ** *** **** ******* ****** ****Asked him about procedure ,he said the lady next to him will explain who also didn't explained anything. Will not recommend to be treated by him. . My wife had got the stenting done by him but within 6 months she had problems and had to get the same procedure done by an another Surgeon. Reports said that the procedure followed by Dr. BALBIR was not done properly ** * ****** *** *** ***** * ****** ****** ***** ******* *** ******** ***** It was painful but everytime we consulted him we were told it is normal but the reality was that the surgery was not successful. After care also was not good. ******** **** **** *** ***********

My mother-in-law & father have been under Dr.Balbir Singh's care for over 10 years...since he was at Medanta & now at Max Saket. He's patient, understanding & hears out all of their concerns. His treatment is precise & he doesn't give out unnecessary advice or prescribe unnecessary medication/tests. His team is always cooperative & try to help out with whatever information the patient or his/her family require....procedure cost, room requests, insurance procedure, etc.

Yes, the OPD wait time is a bit long at times but it's only because the doctor is busy with procedures or on his rounds....this info is conveyed by his team to the OPD patients along with the approximate wait time.

I would recommend Dr.Balbir Singh to anyone who requires cardiac care.

Firstly when I take appointment at 2pm he comes to his cabin after 5 pm. In hurry he seen my father report and suggested me for stunt is better for him and he told no issue for this. And tell me to talk with Anjali regarding charges.

Anjali told me the charges will will be 2.25 lac I was agree. After few days I was in his hospital and submitted his fees .but this doctor never want to meet his attendant and also he has not done any surgery.he send his Juniors to do this job. And finally I have last my father **** ** **** ************* ******.even he didn't come when my father was serious.i recommend please don't go for this doctor.

I would like to extend a sincere thanks to Dr Balbir Singh and team Max institute Saket for all the hard work, effort, and exceptional skills that you deployed in implanting right side AICD device which I believe requires ultimate precision. I am doing well now and back to my work as MIS Surgeon. Thank you for being the dedicated, thoughtful, compassionate, and always going above and beyond and working tirelessly to improve patient outcomes in difficult cases like mine after pocket infection of AICD Left.

At first visit, Dr balbir didn't let us explain all the symptoms and kept saying that today or tomorrow, you have to get pacemaker fit for such low pulse rate and ordered to get a holter installed for 1week. To our any question, his answer was- get holter installed first.

Interstingly, after we took holter report to him, first he kept us waiting for nearly 2.5 hrs and then straight away said u don't need a pacemaker and I I don't have solution to your problem. To any further question, he very rudely just repeated the same thing.

Very unprofessional approach, very rude. Changed statement completely in 4 days. Not trustworthy

I am 87. I am some other medical problems for which I am taking medicines.There was some emergency case where Dr. was held up for about a couple of hours. Perhaps due to that he could not give me the appropriate time to know about the medicines I am already taking,activities I should increase/decrease. Any other precautions I should take.

We have booked an appointment with the doctor at 10: 30am and the doctor see us at 1: 30 pm. The doctor was not even trying to listen to our problem he just suggested angiography. Whosoever is reading this review please don't to go him .he is not even ready to understand your sickness and time
