Dr. Gupta's was highly recommended by my office colleague who had been visiting the doc from last 4-5 years for any dental related issues. Dr. Gupta is very friendly and the most experienced dentist that I have come across. He gives time to his patients and does the treatment with outmost care and gives required attention and time for the respective seatings with an eye for detail for dental issues unlike other dentist who just wants to finish the count of patients. His clinic is hygienic, neat and clean, well equipped and up to date with latest technology for treatments. Most important, during my RCT there was no pain and gave me a confidence and satisfaction of being in good hands. He is reasonably economical, very friendly and knowledgeable. He shares the detail answers to all my queries. I would highly recommend.

Visited For Ceramic Dental Braces
Hoped for better: Explanation of the health issueTreatment satisfaction
I would like to share my experience with my braces treatment under Dr. Ankur Gupta.
When I started my treatment, I was told it would take around 8 months. Eventually, it lasted for about a year, which I completely understand because every patient’s teeth move differently, and I was comfortable with that.
After a year, my braces were removed, and permanent retainers were bonded behind my lower teeth. However, I noticed that one of the gaps between my lower front teeth had not completely closed. I raised this concern immediately, but I was assured that the treatment was complete. Even then, I could see the bonding material used to attach the retainers between the teeth, which made me feel that the gap had not actually closed.
At the same appointment, I also informed the doctor that I was experiencing pain in one of my molars where the metal band had been placed during my braces treatment. I was told that it was only sensitivity and that it would resolve on its own.
Trusting this advice, I continued wearing the permanent retainers for about one and a half years.
During that period, I started experiencing heaviness and pain in my jaw. I revisited the doctor to ask whether my teeth were properly aligned, as I was worried that my bite might be causing the discomfort. After examining me, I was told that everything was aligned correctly.
A few months later, as my jaw discomfort continued, my husband and I asked whether the permanent retainers could be removed. Initially, I had been told they would remain for one year. Later, that changed to two years, and eventually I was advised to keep them for up to ten years.
At 36 years of age, I was not comfortable with the idea of wearing permanent retainers for ten years, so we decided to have them removed.
During the removal, I noticed that the bonding material remained between my lower front teeth, covering the same gap that I had pointed out from the beginning. I also informed the doctor that there was still bonding material left behind my teeth and that I continued to have pain in the same molar I had reported a year earlier. After examining the molar, I was informed that I had cervical abrasion. This was the same tooth I had raised concerns about when my braces were removed, but I was advised to ignore it, as I was told it was only sensitivity that would resolve on its own.
When I reached home, some of the bonding material came off on its own, and I could clearly see that the gap between my lower front teeth was still present. I also noticed bonding material still stuck behind another tooth and between two teeth, which I now plan to have cleaned by another dentist.
Over the past two and a half years, after spending 55k on my treatment, I am left feeling disappointed. Before starting braces, I did not have the dental issues that I am dealing with today. I am now experiencing cervical abrasion, jaw pain, TMJ symptoms, and I have also been told that I have jaw bone loss. In addition, the gap that I originally raised as a concern is still present.
Throughout my treatment, I remained polite and trusted the advice I was given. This is the first time I have ever written such detailed feedback for any doctor. What has disappointed me the most is that the gap I repeatedly pointed out was never properly addressed, and because of the remaining bonding material, I did not realize until later that it was still there. That left me feeling ****** *** ****** disappointed.

I went for implant to Dr Ankur. But he told me tooth that is just next to the place where implant is supposed to be placed has some infection and as that tooth had already undergone rct treatment 10-12 years before, so doctor suggested re-rct of that tooth. * ***** **** *** **** ** **** ***** ***** ******* *** *** **** *** i told doctor i have less than 3 weeks for this treatment as I need to go abroad. The experience was not Good because the doctor suggestd a RCT for tooth which is not feasible.
He suggested RCT on 5 teeth.
While some other Doctor with more experience (Gold medalist) was honest and suggested 2 RCTs since for the rest of the three RCT will not be successful.
