An excellent physician who willingly pays attention to the tiniest abnormalities of his patient’s body. He paid attention to my swollen lymph nodes, whereas another senior doctor totally ignored it. Dr. Amitabha saved my life because of his alertness and knowledge.

Friendly and cordial. Straight forward answers.. he is very supportive and very importantly trustworthy.

I visited the Doctor at Columbia Asia for the said ailments i.e. Stomach Bloating, Swelling in Face and Neck, along with Lower Back Pain. I was expecting the doctor to ask me series of questions to diagnose the root cause of all this. however to my surprise, all he listened was stomach bloating and advised me medicines for 10 days for acidity and some enzyme syrup. When I reiterated for the swelling part, he said casually that let first take care of stomach part as if not so bothered for rest of my ailments.

Later on I had to travel very next day and on the strong recommendation from one of my friend I got few test (LFT/KFT/TFT) done and to my surprise I got to know that my thyroids level TSH were too high i.e. it was around 198 instead of in between 0.5 to 4.5. As i have already left the town, I consulted a doctor in Mumbai and had to suffer a lot due to casual diagnosis of Dr Amitabha Ghosh at Columbia Asia******* ****** ************** ** *** *** *** *** ******* *** ******** ************ *** ** **** ********* ******* I should have plan my travel accordingly and have not ended up looking for consultation in Mumbai. Because of high TSH the lower back problem and stomach bloating had worsen in those two days. I generally do not write negative review but this is something unexpected. Atleast he should have not ruled out everything and could have asked me to get the test done if things not improve in coming days. The casual behavior is something I didn't get that too after charging Rs 700 for consultation.

No Rules & Regulations ...... he kept waiting us for 45 mins then after that as well he took patient recommended by another doctor.....

He is a good physician for basic health issues like fever, pains, etc. He tries to keep the medication generic.
