She completed her Residency from Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi in 2009. She has also done Smile Designing Course from New York, University College of Dentistry at Smile Care (India).The idea of starting her dream venture, "Thyme Dental" was to provide world class treatment to her patients at an affordable price. Before starting Thyme Dental, she was associated with Clove Dental as the Clinic Head for a couple of years. She has also served as the Head of Dental Department at BLK Hospital, Delhi. She has also appeared for a Live Health Show in 2012 on National TelevisionShe has a keen interest in Cosmetic Dentistry. She has persued various advance training courses in different specialities of dentistry. I was facing severe pain in my one of the teeth and was not able to eat for weeks.
Finally i was highly recommended by two different friends to go to Doctor Alka from Thyme Dental clinic and what a fabulous experience it was, starting from identification of problem with clear explanation in a very layman language to make me understand and also making me undergo the best experience during my visits for the treatment.
Besides, her knowledge in dentistry, she was very soft spoken and humble person to the core.

Dr. Alka is really talented and I am super happy with the whole experience. I started visiting her back in 2019 for straightening my teeth and fixing a whole lot of other issues related to my trauma history. She has been extremely patient with me and very helpful in terms of getting guidance even from senior doctors and experts at every stage. Doctor was great!
She did my cleaning, polishing and fillings. She also did my husband's implant.
I cannot express how friendly she is and how well everything was done.
I've never let anybody do my teeth without anesthesia, so when she said this tooth didn't need it, I was really worried. It actually didn't hurt and everything went really smooth!!! She was really calming and nice, while doing everything.
My husband was really satisfied with his tooth. When we came for the tooth placement (like after we do the screw, we put the crown on top), the crown didn't fit 100 percent well, she said it needed a bit of adjustment. The different was really tiny and any other doctor would just put it on and don't even tell us about that. She, instead, took another week to make it perfect, so we were completely satisfied with the result.
Great honest nice sweet doctor! Highly recommended!

I have had dentophobia all my life, due to which avoided going to a dentist in spite of dental issues and relied on painkillers. Until recently, when I got pregnant and the toothaches became unbearable in the 2nd trimester and when painkillers were no more an option, I visited Dr. Alka Yadav. She understood my anxieties and was extremely patient with me. Her assuring words and calm demeanour helped me sit through my RCT without any apprehension. She really helped me get over my phobia. I initially went to her for tooth filling, but I decided to complete my entire brace treatment under her as I trust her to do complete justice to the treatment and get me the best results. Above everything, she's very accessible and approachable and follows up on her patients, even after they have left the clinic! I recommend Dr. Yadav to anyone who's looking for a dentist.
