She is well-versed in performing all kinds of cataract surgeries especially no injection, stitchless phacoemulsification with implantation of a variety of intraocular lenses. She is adept at corneal transplants including lamellar corneal transplants such as DALK and DSAEKs. Her wide experience in refractive surgery for removal of glasses include customised LASIKs, PRK, i-LASIK, SMILE procedures and Implantable contact lenses.Other key areas of interests are diagnosis and management of keratoconus such as performing C3r, INTACS and contact lens fitting as well as management of corneal infections i.e. microbial keratitis. She is also skilled in using various lasers in ophthalmology and management of glaucoma. She has expertise in all kinds of corneal and refractive surgeries, management of dry eye and ocular surface disorders. She also performs other corneal procedures like Pterygium excision, tattooing, BSK chelation, management of corneal perforations and lacerations etc.She is an active member of Gurgaon ophthalmological society (GOS), Delhi Ophthalmological Society (DOS) and All India ophthalmological society. She has also presented and published her work in the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) multiple times.

I visited Lal 20/20 for my father’s cataract surgery. I am extremely grateful that my father was under the care of Dr Deepa Gupta for the surgery. I was diagnosed with Keratoconus and Corneal Scarring in 11th grade (this was back in 2017) and my initial diagnosis that I got from Jammu was scary. I came to Gurgaon for a second opinion where I was then diagnosed by Dr. Deepa.
She helped me and my family to understand what Keratoconus was and what our next steps could be. Her diagnosis and way of dealing with the problem put us at ease and I was later operated on for C3R and Keratoplasty under the expertise of Dr. Deepa.
Ever since, my eyesight has improved and stabilized a lot, and I come for frequent check-ups whenever I'm in Gurgaon or Delhi, as I feel that I am in safe hands with Dr. Deepa!
