Dr. Biplav Agarwal

I spend a great amount of time exercising in the sun. I ride my cycle on the mountains and all over the country and skin care is important to me. I wanted to discuss on sunscreen related issues since most products in the market dont seem to work well for me.

To my surprise, Dr. Agarwal first sat me down and explained the science behind sunscreens and the need for skin care while exercising in the sun. My first impression was that this is something not many Drs nowadays take interest in doing.

He also debunked my misconceptions related to SPF and UV radiation and finally prescribed products (after checking with me about my experience with past products). Finally my Budget expectations were also factored into the whole equation.

The recommended products seem to work really well for me. These are not exactly run of the mill type of , off the shelf products.I would recommend them to people who are serious about their skin when in the sun, especially those spending hours exercising in the sun.

I despise the feeling of a cream on my body especially once i start perspiring. He understood my requirements and suggested different kinds of creams for my face and body. He also showed me the right way to apply the creams.

The suggested creams for the face and neck are like a gel and thus leave no oily sensation on the face / neck, an area that seems to be most sensitive towards having anything applied on it (for me at least) . That was major consideration from my side.

The one for the body is more like a cream but then again, gets absorbed in the skin instantly. Works well for me.

He was also honest enough to mention that the burning sensation in my eyes from sweat and creams would not totally go away (due to the nature of compounds in the cream), but explained that by applying the gel carefully i could look to minimise my problems related to burning. I felt like it was an honest feedback.

By the end of the consultation, I felt like I had made a well informed choice. I was somehow, part of the decision making process and in the end, walked away feeling like i understood how this stuff works (even though it maybe considered as a trivial discussion for most people, for me it wasn't one).

My conclusion, Dr. Agarwal is very approachable, easy to talk to and great to consult with. He knows his medicine but also believes in educating and offering more to his patients. His prescriptions are usually lean (unless unavoidable). He believes in running a honest practice. Some of his best qualities include his ability to connect with his patients, take interest in making sure that they are well versed about the problem, before finally moving towards resolving the problem.

Dr. Biplav is very professional in his work and manner of attending to patients .

In March 2017, I developed pigmentation due to an overdose of the wrong hormonal medication. My face was mottled and had lost its smoothness. I put it down to age as well as the effects of long life illnesses, pollution, bad diets etc. but my daughter persuaded me to visit Dr. Biplav's clinic rather than going for high-fangled facials at beauty parlours. So now, I have had a few sessions that removed age lines and sun caused pigments.

Biplav is an amazing person who cares for his patients appearance on a long term basis. My face looks 'sweeter' and at 60 years, it has other encouraging effects on me for example, to improve other areas like health and fitness.

One other good side effect was the lifting of my dropping eye lids. This has allowed me to have better vision.

I know Dr. Biplav will keep abreast of the latest developments in skin laser treatment. He has published papers and continues to take feedback from his patients. Thus an overall progressive center.

I am extremely happy to have found a cure for many skin issues I had or may have in the future.

I might add that my sister in USA is quite envious of my find in Gurgaon! She only had one session and was totally convinced of laser technology.

I hope Dr Biplav continues to make other people as happy as I am.

I am completely satisfied with the treatment. The doctor understood my problem well, explained to me in detail why I had the problem, and gave me the medicines with some restrictions on my food habits. Right from the first week I was able to see visible results. The doctor gradually decreased my dosage, and today I have ZERO pimples and I have stopped taking the medicine.

Just have faith in the doc and follow his advice. He is not like other docs I have been to who prescribe costly creams and medicines. He is there to help you and not just make money.

This year again I consulted him during lockdown period for fungal skin allergy and he was so patient in listening to my problem over phone and he explained issue and root cause in detail . Took treatment for 15 days and my allergy is completely gone.

We are highly disappointed to meet this young doctor. He told us that the mild rashes on the ends of my lips are due to vitamin deficiency and not due to any infection. He wrote some blood tests for vitamin D and B12. However, at the same time, WITHOUT INFORMING US, he prescribed capsule Psorid100 ***** ** **** ** **** ** ****** *********** **** ********* **** ** ***** ********** ***** ** ****** ***** ** ********** Other ointment prescribed Momate is also a steroid cream. He seemed to be in hurry and did not take time at all to explain us the treatment prescribed by him.

I had an itching issue since an year and had consulted a couple of doctors but nothing helped. Upon visiting Dr Biplav, he immediately asked me to get a test done and he was right in hitting the bulls eye in the first go. The report was positive and he put me on a medication of 3 months. I followed everything he said and noted the improvement in my health dramatically. After 3 months I repeated the test and all reports are normal. He did an outstanding job. My sincere thanks to him. Not just this but he also treated my wife’s eczema problem by giving her some tips in the general lifestyle and daily routine that we all follow. Simply amazing

Dr told me the exact terms of my disease and also shared links to further read about my problem, this would really help me in going in depth to know about my situation. After coming out, I had that confidence in me that I can beat this problem. Also, accompanying staff was kind and helpful. Overall, It wasn't just consultation, it was a positive experience.

Dr. Biplav is one of the best doctors I have ever come across...I have been visiting his clinic for last five years...I used to have acne problem but not any more..He has the expertise of a professional clubbed with care and understanding of a friend :)) He is veryyyyy down to earth, humble and NOT at all money minded unlike other doctors who are just interested in promoting their commercial interests...My perception towards doctors changed after meeting him...All doctors are not the same...He is the kind of person who will advise you against unnecessary tests...He is not just a great doctor but a great human being...I would definately recommend him :))

No waiting time for me, but the doctor pushed me out within 5 mins even though I had some questions regarding my nails condition.

So, Rs. 600 is only for the medicine, and bare minimal consultation was received. I wish doctors become more empathetic, and give good 10-15 mins per patient for all the money we give.
