Avnee Taneja (She/Her) is a Counselling Psychologist with over 3 years of experience working across clinical and rehabilitation settings. She supports adults and young adults navigating a wide range of emotional and behavioural concerns, including anxiety, depression, OCD, addiction, trauma, grief, stress, life transitions, and relationship challenges.Avnee holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from Indira Gandhi National Open University, a Master’s in Criminology from the University of Manchester, and a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Studies, English, and Psychology from Christ University, Bangalore. She has also completed professional certifications in Art Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Addiction Counselling, Hypnotherapy, and Mindfulness, which she thoughtfully integrates into her therapeutic work.Her approach is integrative, humanistic, and person-centred, drawing from CBT, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Mindfulness-Based Interventions, Art Therapy, and Hypnotherapy within a trauma-informed framework. Avnee places strong emphasis on collaboration, safety, and individualised care, tailoring therapy to each client’s unique experiences, needs, and goals.She often incorporates creative and subconscious exploration through art therapy and hypnotherapy, allowing clients to access emotions and insights that may be difficult to articulate through words alone.
