I am writing this to thank Dr. Parmod Gulia .

After 6 years from my implant i am writing this.

Pre story :-I had broken my front tooth during my schooldays by falling on slippery floor . From school days to till my job i was using removal tooth . I had to take precautionary measures while using it like - i had to remove it during night and wash it every morning . Also not able to laugh openly .

After a lot of research on Practo I visited Dr. Parmod Gulia . He diagnosed and briefed me about the condition and what are the options i have . Due to long duration my front bone ( i forgot medical term )was not available to hold the permanent implant . i already had suffered a lot due to removal teeth and desperately wanted permanent solution .

treatment (Jan 2018):- Dental Implant , Bone Graft and Z.Crown.

Post treatment:- I visited doctor for two three times as it was new and i thought implant might have went wrong (internal fear ) . Dr assured me it is normal and that i wont feel it after a month .

But see what happened I forgot Dr. Gulia as i never faced any type of problem and i also forgot i have implanted tooth.

Today when i was brushing my teeth i minutely looked to my implanted front teeth and it was no different than any other teeth (colour wise/size wise ).

i have married for past three years and even my wife could not notice about it .

i enjoyed every laugh , chewing gum food .

I have been transferred out of Gurgaon and hope to visit you to thank you in person.

I was waiting how long my implant works fine and i hope for next many years i wont face any problem . I am feeling happy while writing this .

I got befooled by few of the good reviews that I saw on Practo. That's why it is always recommended to visit a doctor whom you have experienced, rather than going blindly on the basis of reviews. We went with our 2.5 year old son. He is having issues with his front teeth, primarily discolouration and cavities. The doctor didn’t really examine through any X ray but he told us what was the situation. He suggested for a surgery with full anaesthesia where He will do few fillings and put multiple crowns for front teeth. When asked about the cost for this, he came up with the number of 2-2.5 lakhs rupees which seemed just too much and when I asked why the cost is this high, he only explained that since these crowns and fillings would require 3-4 hours, hence its this costly. Didn’t make any sense to me. After this I got opinions from couple more similar doctors and I got the costing in the range of 40-50k even with Fortis hospital gurgaon. This was such a relief. At the same time, I am just amazed how Dr Pramod came up with this costing. Just bizarre experience
