Dr. Jammie B Blah

I just had the 2nd of my two cataract operations performed by Dr. Jammie Blah. She is an absolute professional, and very personable as well. I had 2 toric lens implants to correct for both astigmatism and spherical power. These are difficult to orient precisely, and she did an excellent job. My left eye is perfectly corrected for distance, and I expect the same for for the right eye which was operated on today. Painless, using only local anesthetics (eye drops).

I went for my father's cataract surgery in Dr. Agarwal Eye hospital Whitefield, Bangalore. Dr. Jammie did that surgery to best of her capability. She invited me to look at the surgery from viewing gallery. I looked at complete surgery. She is very skilled and performed surgery very nicely. My father is feeling quite well. I must say that she is an expert in her domain. Very skilled, confident, polite and caring doctor. Highly recommend her.

Very unpleasant experience. My mother, who is 69 years old, had dry and itchy eyes so she wanted to consult a doctor. Dr. Blah diagnosed it to be some sort of infection and then from there said we should do a test for Glaucoma. We didn’t have time so we skipped that part. She prescribed antibiotic steroid which we were skeptical to, but she said everything will be fine. We got home and as soon as started her prescribed steroid, my mother’s eyes were bloodshot red and by the night got all swollen. From mere itching, this is now 1-2 week long ordeal to get her health in shape.She has a fever and cannot see much due to swollen eyes.

Dr. Blah in not a patient listener even if you try to tell her something, she will cut you off and start to talk on top on you.

I’m ok with doctor appointment but other staff who is checking for eye slight are not sure abt their work , they checked twice my eye values but not sure abt values , I even showed my old eye values den got some idea nd eye clearning drops dey kept 4 times nd almost my eyes got irritated nd burning sensation...5th time one staff member sunitha I guess she simply wants to take time of patients forcefully wants to put but I denied **************** * **** **** *** ******** ******* *** *** ******* ***** *** **** **** **** ****** *** *** ** I paid 600/- consultation fee , at last simply said to visit next day after waiting for 2hrs , to recheck again my sight , it’s simply wasted my time ** * **** ***** * **** ******** ** *****

Staff needs to be polite with patients

Had a very bad experience. She keeps changing or adding new medicines whenever you visit her. If you ask her the reason she will start showing her rude behaviour. Just for my pink eye she gave me 6 medicine (5 different eye drops and few tablets) even though I was recovering well after applying 2 set of eye drops she gave me 5 days back. Stay away from her, *** **** ** *** ** *********** **** **** **** **** ** **** **********

I visited her for eye discomfort, but she recommended unnecessary expensive tests, falsely alarming me about Glaucoma, seemingly to profit for the hospital.

Doctor is so polite and good. I have checked my eyesight. Doctor tell me about infection in my eyes and gave some medicine.

Dony get attractedd by brand and ads. I got tested my eyes and clearly told the doctor that i have nearsighted issue. Doctor also told the same. But surprisingly the prescription is for distance sight.
