Ms. Meenakshi Chopra

I have been working with Ms. Chopra for several months now. I was matched with her through Samvedna Care, the website, where I went to look for a psychologist.

I had been given some diagnoses (right and wrong) by previous therapists, counsellors and psychiatric professionals, and had been on medication earlier, but at the time that I started seeing Ms. Chopra, I was doing excessively bad and was not able to cope or function at a normal pace in life.

Ms. Chopra has created a dialogue between us which 1) enables me to be extremely honest with her even if the truth is not pleasant, 2) helps me recognise my own harmful patterns, 3) identify and work on aspects of myself that need work, 4) gives me enough agency that I feel like an adult in the conversation and not a child being scolded or disciplined {which can happen in such relationships}, and 5) makes me feel more and more ready to face my mental health challenges and the life outside them, without fearing anything or thinking that my life is defined by them. Only a psychologist who is looking at you as a holistic person and not just a bundle of illnesses with a wallet can do this, so I am fortunate to have been matched with her. It also helps that we share a sense of humour in some ways so there are many moments of pure laughter and I value those.

I met Dr Meenakshi for a complete psychiatric evaluation.

She gave me an assessment test and I was diagnosed with severe anxiety and separate depression.

After this, I started my therapy sessions with Dr Meenakshi, depression, and anxiety caused, various other issues for me such as self doubt, lower self-esteem, social anxiety. Performing day to day tasks were also challenging for me.

Dr Meenakshi started addressing my issues slowly and patiently she advised me to follow some exercises and give me some tasks to do which were very small but gradually it made a huge impact in my overall condition as well as my day to day life.

She asserted positive thoughts and instilled self-confidence in me again, which was completely lost. She encouraged me to put effort where my fears were.

I could see visible changes in myself as well as my life, for a person who was struggling with every day life. I am now thinking of rebuilding my career and to start a work of my own.

Dr Meenakshi is a thorough professional, Kind, and empathetic.

I met with Ms Meenkashi in 2023 and I started visiting her again 2024. I was going through some major breakdowns. But she really helped me put things in perspective.

She follows all the right procedures, she says all the right things and asks all the right questions. We took a deep dive into my entire life and it really was refreshing the way she walked me through it without me losing my mind.

As a person who has been to various psychologists in the past, this was definitely a game changer for me. If it was up to me I would not have recommended her because I want to keep her for myself. Meenakshi's greatest strength is that she can resonate at multiple levels. My experience with therapists in the past has been that they try and veer and steer their clients towards a standard narrative of normalcy in your area of concern. To that extent there is a degree of pre-determinism that subtly dominates and directs the therapist client interaction. In this regard I found Meenskshi's approach to be delightfully different. She doesn't attempt to dislodge you from your position on the subject. Instead she tries to make sense of it and tries to find normalcy within that space. THAT I found to be a far more refreshing approach. Overall her avancular demeanor and ability to not just hear, but listen, makes for a very reassuring experience.

First of all Dr. Meenakshi is a believer. Her communication skills are way beyond the expectations as she connects really well with her patients. She is a great listener and allows you to open your mind or heart out. She always focusses on the brighter side of an individual which eventually helps in overpowering the negatives. One can never feel burdened while speaking to her infact the person feels relaxed while sharing their issues. She has the ability to ignite hope in a depressed person, also she plans the areas of improvement very systematically and her calm, composed and friendly nature does the icing on the cake. One should consider himself/herself lucky if Dr. Meenakshi is treating him/her. Strongly recommended.

Dr. Minakshi is a lifesaver; she helps you become aware of your emotions. Only through a couple of sessions, she solved my issues. I remember crying and hugging her in my last session because I was so happy and realized that I have won the battle of depression. I would definitely recommend paying her a visit.

She is extremely friendly, all ears, and will help you not just solve your current problem but also show you a way of living your life beautifully.
