i am suffering from Fatty liver and visited dr Rajesh for the same .With life style and dietary changes i am doing fine now as my LFT report is normal now

After lengthy treatment for swelling, IBS, and other issues, my physician advised me to consult a gastro to address nutrient absorption problems, break IBS cycle, swelling etc. I searched Practo and found Dr. Rajesh Kumar Pradhan was highly rated with glorified comments so, we visited him.

I showed him the list of symptoms I had written with little history. I tried explaining my issues but he kept cutting me off to prescribe a Hydrogen breath test claiming it was necessary to identify potential gut issues caused by bad bacteria. The test was unique and only available at the clinic, so we booked it. We were the first to arrive and as time was passing, more and more people were pouring in to get the same test done. They, like us, were first-timers just prescribed the test without any prior diagnosis. 3 with me and more in the other room.

The assistant explained the test was for SIBO - Doc studied for it in Germany, so far 70% people tested +ve for SIBO, very few doctors know about this. Doctor had left by the time result arrived which was +ve so I was told we will WhatsApp you prescription since it was over 2 hr drive. Unfortunately, it contained medications I was already taking, without additional supplements like iron or calcium. I tried to explain it to the doc ************ ****** **** that these meds have not helped, I am deteriorating, I was getting depressed in life due to weakness etc. He asked me to visit.

We travelled for 2 hr to reach him and he basically justified us his prescription. He did not prescribe supplement because I don't need Iron or calcium, there is nothing else wrong with me other than SIBO and if these medications don’t help me then we will follow an invasive method to clean gut, no other solution. We had to push him to read my blood report and upon reading he took a pause and said maybe you can take calcium. But since my haemoglobin is normal, low iron count did not matter, my KFT was normal so he explained that english to hindi, when I told I had already taken this prescription, my condition is worsening - he literally told me I am mental and one SOS medicine is going to help me with anxiety. Upon reminding him once again for my other symptom, i.e., swelling, he suggested I visit general physician to give me a diagnosis, it is not gastro related.

In hindsight, the hydrogen test was unnecessary, if this was the medication required to treat it. It was for monetary benefit and database. I felt unheard and frustrated. These doctors know they possess the technical knowledge so they exploit us however they want. It was one thing to abuse my time and money but if he was only going to justify his prescription, he could have done it on call or text, no need to make us travel all the way when my MIL was hospitalized. Over and above that, he used my complain of emotional strength to justify my symptoms and his prescription making me more emotionally frustrated.

The doctor suggested **** tests **** ****** * *** ******* **** ***** He recommended a fibroscan but didn’t prescribe any medicine and asked me to come back on Saturday since the machine was only available then. Overall, it felt like a waste of time and money.

I visited Dr. Rajesh Kumar Pradhan for my wife's gastro-related problem. He gave very practical advice, like suggesting walking to help bowel movement, and avoided prescribing too many tests or medicines. The interaction was comforting, and I would rate the visit 4 out of 5.

1 month back, my father was suffering from severe abdominal pain. He himself visited few doctors prior to Dr Pradhan but didn't get relief. He was continuously taking high dose of pain killers in every 3-4 hours.

When I got to know Dr. Rajesh. I asked my father to visit Dr Pradhan once. As he was in pain he agreed to come. Mr. Pradhan thoroughly asked each and every thing and also patiently explained everything to us. Morever, Dr. himself explained all problem which was being faced by father. Since my father was in high pain, I did take advice on msgs during odd hours too. His way of treatment towards diagnosis was focused. In every visit, doc explained and suggested what we should follow as daily routine like food etc. After 1 week, my father got better and doc advised us for next follow up in next month. After a thorough and extensive search for a top Gastroenterologist for my mother's Liver Cirrhosis treatment, finally I found Dr. Rajesh ** *** *** *** ** *** **** ** **** ****** I have visited few doctors prior to visit Dr. Rajesh *** **** ** ******** ********** * ***** *** ** ** *** **** ****************** ** ********** ******* *** ****** for my mother's liver disease treatment. The doc explained the health issues in a very simple manner and suggested to take regular follow up and check up on the issue timely manner. We have not come any instance where he was in a hurry or had suggested any unnecessary test or expensive medication. His approach towards diagnosis and treatment is very focused, extremely attentive to accuracy and detail. In every follow ups he explained and guided what we need to do and what treatment he is following. After 2 months of proper guidance and appropriate medication I am so happy that my mother's liver issues came down to normal level and ALL BIG THANKS TO DR. RAJESH.
