Dr. Shiba Kalyan Biswal

Dr Shiba Kalyan Biswal is a alumnus of the two most prestigious Medical Institutes of India , AIIMS,New Delhi and PGIMER, Chandigarh. Has completed his DM in Pulmonary Medicine ,Critical Care and Sleep disorders from All India Institute of Medical Sciences,(AIIMS) after his MD Medicine from Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research(PGIMER),Chandigarh. He has received the Lung India Award in 2018 for his outstanding research in Respiratory Medicine.Dr. Shiba has more than 7 years of experience post MD in treatment of various respiratory ailments both acute and Chronic viz. Bronchial Asthma,COPD,Tuberculosis and ILD. Have experience of managing patients with acute respiratory failure using both Non-invasive and invasive mechanical ventilators. Has extensive knowledge of treating pulmonary involvement in various systemic diseases like Sarcoidosis, SLE,Systemic Sclerosis,Rheumatoid Arthritis, Vasculitis,Pulmonary Hypertension and Drug induced Lung Diseases. Has experience of doing various bronchoscopic procedures with flexible bronchoscopy and EBUS-TBNA. He is one of the very few Sleep Specialist of India with a DM degree in Sleep Disorders.
