Dr. Shanti Swaroop Dhar

Although I had to wait over 30 minutes despite a pre-booked appointment, Dr. Shanti Swaroop Dhar listened patiently and was very friendly and considerate.

I have never met anybody like him. He is such a nice, sweet and genuine doctor- he has all the knowledge in the world, and yet so humble and kind. He truly listens to his patients, without ever making them feel that they need to hurry up and leave. Never ever makes you feel that he's too busy. He has a very calming way of talking. Such a patient, peaceful and a very calm personality. He won't give too many medicines for no reason. He examined me so well like many senior doctors wouldn't. Very thoroughly. He really lifted my spirits and has such a positive outlook. He basically checks all the boxes. I really wish I knew him before.

Doctor is very good , gave a very patient hearing and explained in detail the cause and also explained the future course of action .

I visited Dr. Dhar for my liver issues, which were clearly evident from my symptoms and test reports indicating something seriously wrong with my liver function. He suggested a total of 22,000 INR worth of tests. Initially, he diagnosed me with autoimmune hepatitis. However, after assessing my financial capacity during our third consultation, his demeanor changed drastically. Despite being in considerable pain and having driven myself there without any help, he rudely remarked, "If you had a liver problem, you wouldn't have been able to walk here."

I was stunned by his insensitivity. His behaviour was highly condescending as if he looked down upon the patients from rural background. He may have vast experience in his field but his attitude towards patient is patronizing. When I was referring to ailment related to liver in details to help him understand the exact root cause, he asked me " do you know what stomach is?" That's how he shows blatant disregard towards what you know even though you are only trying to help him understand the problem. He wouldn't even listen to you. But his subordinates are very cooperative. There is no issue with the hospital though. It was an amazing place to get your treatment done.

I visited Dr. Dhar when I was in acute stomach ache. Doctor was able to diagnose my problem which was H plyori and my treatment was done efficiently.

Dr. Dhar is such an experienced and friendly doctor.
