I have had a few sessions with Ms. Mariella. I was looking for therapy to help me come out of a difficult phase. I found Ms. Mariella to be eady to speak to, and I have been very comfortable to share and explain conditions that have caused me distress and confusion. As this is the first time I have committed to therapy, I wondered how difficult it would be as a process to Narrate and unravel my situations. But the first session eased me, I felt comfortable and saw that it had a positive effect on me. I felt lighter and hopeful. Which is why I was able to commit even more deeply to therapy. The few ways that my sessions have been helpful are that I was able to see new perspectives, learnt to forgive, see that the past doesn’t determine one’s present and that small steps towards a larger goal are easier to take than to see the larger goal and be intimidated by it. I have learnt that change is easier than I thought it is once you see the positive effect of good change, and that it’s okay to take time to change.The sessions made my recovery possible and I feel stronger and more positive. I look forward to my sessions so I can work towards my goals towards my well being and be better equipped to reach my overall goals .
