Dr. Deependra completed his MBBS in 1996 and MD Ophthalmology from Dr. Rajendra Prasad Center for Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS in 2001. He then perused Senior Registrar (cum Fellowship) and Senior Research Associate (pool Job) in Retinal Surgery at AIIMS in 2004.
He has been Practicing Vitreo-Retinal Surgery at NCR for past 19 years and has more than 9000 Vitreo-retinal surgeries and 5500 injections to his credit. Currently He is Director and Head of Vitreoretinal Services at Eye-Q Super-specialty Eye Hospitals (India) and Chief Vitreoretinal Surgeon at Eye-Q Gurugram.
He has Authored 60 publications, 14 book chapters, Reviewer for 8 journals including Ophthalmology (American Academy of Ophthalmology), JCRS, JMCR. He has also deliberated on more than 150 occasions in different national and international conferences. He is also Heading Scientific Committee and is Secretary to Ethics Committee at Eye-Q Superspecialty Eye Hospitals and involved in research projects.
