I sought therapy to address several psychological challenges, including obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety, depression, and relationship-related concerns. Over the course of my treatment, Dr Shahid has played a significant role in helping me better understand and manage these issues.

Through a combination of structured techniques such as CBT-based approaches and consistent guidance, I have been able to improve my overall functionality and emotional stability. One of the most valuable aspects of the therapy has been the way my therapist challenged my limiting beliefs and encouraged a healthier, more constructive perspective toward my thoughts and experiences.

The sessions have also equipped me with practical coping mechanisms that I can apply in my daily life. Additionally, the therapist has shown a willingness to engage with my family when necessary, which has contributed positively to my support system. Their availability and responsiveness have further strengthened my sense of trust and comfort throughout this journey.

I have noticed a substantial improvement in my emotional regulation. I am now more aware of my psychological patterns and better equipped to manage them. This therapeutic relationship has not only helped me address specific concerns but has also contributed to my overall personal growth and balance.

What stands out most is the humility and collaborative approach my therapist brings to the process. Rather than imposing solutions, they have worked alongside me, which has made the experience both empowering and effective.

I am still continuing my treatment, and I remain grateful for the positive impact it has had on my life so far.

As we all are heading towards a new year (2024) I want to thank the almighty that I met Dr Mir Shahid Ali & he actually made 2023 a life-changing year for me! So, I met Dr Shahid, a clinical psychologist based in Delhi, 3 months back at Mindful, Saket. And today I can proudly say that, if the word 'Savior' had a face it's Dr Shahid.My experience with Dr. Shahid has been highly rewarding. His insightful guidance left a significant impact on my well-being in both the personal & professional front.Dr. Shahid's empathetic demeanour and professional aptitude helped me in unravelling my innermost self. His unwavering patience showcased his compassionate nature and expertise in the field, thus providing me with the much-needed support and a push that filled me with strength.Shahid sir helped me delve deeper into my personal worries & the best part about him is that he wasn't forcing those cliche therapist techniques and was actually letting me be me.Recollecting my initial meeting with him- Well I was struggling for almost 4 years in a stuck situation and ended up meeting him with a give-up attitude but little did I know that he's not just a therapist but a magician (at least for me). I was going through a personal crisis & my 4 years of struggle actually vanished in just two months that Shahid sir had said( rather vouched for) in our very first meeting, thanks to his systematic approach.In our initial sessions I actually used to blabber anything and everything but Dr Shahid being Dr Shahid used to give me takeaways that actually turned out to be life changing for me. Like they say 'you are your best judge' all I can say today is that 'life's good'.I can write an entire book on my experience so far but just in case you are struggling with any issues that you can't discuss with anyone big/small, just meet Dr Shahid once you can always thank me later ;) P.S: You start feeling better the moment you enter Dr Shahid's cabin, that I now call the manifestation room 😇

I was going through depression and obsessions for many years. Consulted lot of doctors and psychotherapists in Delhi but the improvement was not satisfying. Luckily I came to know about Dr Shahid through a random person while traveling in metro. My first visit to him was so informative and reasonable. It was the first session I understood the reasons for not improving much. I started feeling better and with 12 sessions of CBT I got major improvement. Life is on full go, I am fully functional. ** ****** ** *** **** ********** He is treating my son with Autism from last 3 years. Words are not enough to describe the good work he is doing in mental health. My life before I met him was disturbed because my son' s behavior was very erratic and extremely disturbed, so much so that i had started thinking of sending him in some institution for challenging kids. It is my good luck that a friend of mine referred me to Dr Shahid. He was able to establish connection with my son in very first meeting. Before that he would scream and refuse to go for any therapy but with Dr Shahid, he always looks forward for his next session. Dr Shahid is very humble and nice۔ I was going through relationship issues and had lost all hope۔ I was taken to doctor by my friend۔ I was not willing for any counseling may be because I was hopeless۔ it was that one initial session when Dr Shahid explained me about my problem and the way he explained the process of therapy۔ I took 6 sessions and there was a significant improvement۔ I am still in therapy but life has completely changed with better relationships۔ I am not sure if all the therapist behave the same way but I must say for me yes doctor is next to God۔

I was dealing with lot of crises in my life when I visited Dr Shahid at mindful. It was time when I was not able to see anything positive around me. My wife forced me to attend a session with Dr Shahid which I did just for sake of my wife. The first session changed something in me. Things didn't change in initial sessions but it was that first session where I got this feeling that I can make it through. Dr Shahid explained me my situation and emotions , it was so overwhelming to hear from someone what exactly I was feeling.

He was very patient and empathetic. There is something with his energy. I did continue sessions and gradually things changed and I am now feeling good.

To my understanding from my therapy I was dealing with depression and anxiety issues. He also gave us couple sessions which helped us to improve our relationship. His approach is more practical and patient centered.

I was going through lot of anxiety and fear around me, I tried therapy at some places before I went to dr shahid. He was very patient and humble while consultation. I think he understood my problems the way I could not explain. It gave me so relief that he helped me to explain the problems and lead me towards good management and treatment. I was very anxious about cbt but the way he did it was like so comfortable and effective. I would highly recommend Dr shahid for anxiety problems. Consulted Dr Shahid for mood swinging and relationship issues. He was very understanding while listening to my problems and very humble in explaining the issues. After some sessions I felt better and learned new ways to deal with my mood swing and relationships. I am still in therapy but now I am more stable and having better stable relationships. I am thankful to Dr shahid and his mindful team for changing my life and most importantly for being available whenever needed.
