I find the process of starting therapy the hardest. A minor inconvenience caused me to cancel the appointment and postpone the process. Soon after, I received a call from Manisha ma'am who took it upon herself to check up on someone who wasn't even a patient as yet. After confirming I really wanted a session, I scheduled an in person visit. Manisha ma'am asked a lot of probing questions during the session, and was extremely patient while I told her everything. For someone who has been to therapy before, a single session with her got me way ahead in the process than I had ever gotten with my previous doctor. She explained issues I had assumed to be normal for years, and also charted out an easy, doable plan for improvement.
