Zolfresh 5mg night before long drive

Need to start early in the morning for 400kms car drive. Is it safe to take zolfresh 5mg in the previous night ?. I read somewhere like zolpidem can cause impaired driving.

Depends on what kind of zolfresh preparation you are taking. Immediate release have half life of 2 to 3 hrs but sustained release have longer half life . Also depends on other medication that you are taking with Zolfresh
