Feeling low, having crying spells, sleep and appetite disturbances, and difficulty in concentration and attention are some of the signs of Depression. You will have to take him to a psychiatrist because to prescribe medication a psychiatrist has to at least see the patient once. If you cannot take him to a psychiatrist, request a psychiatrist to pay a home visit.
