Yellowish palm and sole
My 2 year old baby wt 13 kgs. Her foot sole is yellowish and palm is yellowish since a month but she is highly active no records of fever , her stool is clear , her appetite is normal. She is eating well. In her diet i give her puffed rice and mixed boiled veg , fruits papaya , watermelon apples , lunch fish stew which consists of potato sweet potato carrots parbal and raw papaya. and same in dinner both with rice . and formula milk twice daily 8 ounce . What can be the cause of yellowish colour of palm and sole . Should i be worried

If the eyes are not yellow it may be due to excess carotene containing foods which is harmless.
Next Steps
Colour will fade if veg like sweet potato, carrot papaya reduced/stopped for a few days

Its called carotenemia due to excess vitamin A in diet. Avoid carrots and papaya. It should settle. But please consult a pediatrician to be sure its not jaundice
