Yellow vaginal discharge
Reasons for 8 to 11 years girls having yellow vaginal discharge .  Please let me know the reason and what to do.

Hello, It's due to veginitis. Take a tub filled with warm water add four lids of betadin solution.tell her to sit in it for ten to fifteen minutes N wash her VEGINA as much as possible. This is called VEGINAL douch. Or use clean n clear  VEGINAL solution to  maintain hygiene. Undergarments to we wash properly n hang in sun light. Consult a gynac for further treatment as I can't write the medicine in exact dose from this open platform.medicine can be written according to weight.. I hope you understand.ok.

Yellow vaginal discharge can be normal, but could potentially be a sign of an infection. Generally, when a yellow discharge is thick, chunky, or when it has a bad smell is abnormal and suggestive of infection. Please send The details of discharge and your child, it will help to diagnose it better.

Vaginitis SX – Trich - frothy D/C, dysuria. BV - fishy odor. Yeast - Pruritus, D/C, erythema. PE – GU.
Next Steps
DX – Vaginal pH. Saline Wet Mount. KOH Whiff test. U/A w/ Cx, GC/Chlamydia. Pap smear.
Health Tips
Tx: • Metronidazole for Gardnerella and Trichomonas. Fluconazole for Candida.
