Hello, I just sliped and twisted my left ankle. I didn't have a lot of pain but my foot was completely swolen purple. I did my xray done and got the report. Can you please tell me if this is a fracture or not. Also if I need any plaster?

I have a strong suspicion that you have a 5th metatarsal fracture.
Treatment can be surgical with screws or conservative with walking synthetic cast for 6 weeks.
Ankle sprain if present needs to be confirmed by Orthopaedic Surgeon clinically.

Keep affected foot elevated.
