Hello Xanthelasma occurs due to deposition of cholesterol in middle later of your skin thus some amount of scarring is expected from any procedure intended to remove this fat. Treatment options include Radio-frequency ablation, CO2 laser ablation or simple techniques like chemical cauterisation also give good results. Plz visit a MD physician to keep your chesterol in control .
Health Tips
Smaller the size of xanthelasma lesser the chance of visible scarring. Get it treated when it's small. Improve lifestyle and diet.
