Wound on preen gland
I have parakeet bird and she have wound on preen gland and its bleed sometimes. Her wound is very big and swelled and always looks bloody. As I didn't get any avian vet in my city so plz help me what shall I do coz one of my parakeet was died because of same wound. Plz help me out I don't wanna lose her. I have attached pic of her wound also.

U need to start with cleaning of this area with liquid betadiene followed by application of neosporin powder. Do it twice daily nd is he eating properly. Please keep me informed so that I can start off with other medications.
