I go for daily walks. One day, I started from my home as usual and reached halfway when a stray dog passed very close to me. I didn’t feel anything unusual at that time, but suddenly a thought came to my mind: "What if the dog bit or scratched me without me noticing? Can I get rabies from this?"
Due to this anxiety, I turned back and walked home. On the way back, I again passed by some stray dogs. When I reached home, I carefully checked my body — there were no wounds, scratches, or bite marks.
But even while checking, I started doubting myself — "Am I checking properly? Did I miss something?" I’m very confused and anxious. This thought has been troubling me for the past 2 weeks. I feel mentally disturbed, constantly thinking whether a dog really bit me or not.
Please advise if any treatment is required or if this is just anxiety. Thank you.

Bod bite or scratch can't be missed. You will definitely feel it. On top of that, you also checked fir the wounds which was not there so no need to worry
Based on what you've described, it does not sound like you were bitten or scratched by the dog. Rabies is only transmitted through direct contact with the saliva of an infected animal via a bite or a deep scratch. Since you did not feel any pain, notice any injury, and found no wounds, scratches, or bite marks on your body even after checking thoroughly, it is extremely unlikely that you were exposed to rabies.
What you're experiencing seems to be health anxiety or obsessive thoughts
