WISDOM TOOTH EXTRACTED
Hello, 3days back I had my fully Mesial impacted Wisdom tooth (left down side) removed using surgical method (where some part of bone was cut) I have steaches in there. So far I have followed all topical instructions from dentist. I wanted to know if I can fully open my mouth now? And if I do so then will it delay healing or cause dry socket or impact the steaches? And also please advise how long do I need to avoid gym/weight training. When can I start to have hard food Also if possible advise food which will accelerate healing and prevent dry socket? Also please confirm the medications given are good. I have attached x-ray and prescription Really sorry for too many questions, Thanks in advance for your valuable answers

Reduced mouth opening can be upto 15 days to maximum. No need to worry about that. Medication are upto mark. Just do warm salt water gargling after every time you take food.do some jaw stretching exercises. U can continue your gym training.

Hi No need to worry You may have mild discomfort for a week The mouth opening will gets normal gradually....Do start doing mouth exercise as taught by your dentists after 3 days of teeth removal which won't  interfer with your healing process.... You need to take 2 days rest after wisdom teeth removal that is enough...Do start heavy workouts gradually  after 2 days Do warm  salt water rinse once in 2 hours for a week till stritches gets removed.... Rinse your mouth well after every meals and keep that operated area cleaned Do eat fresh juices and green vegetables...Try to have vegetable soups...Have soft food items like curd rice , idly  for  a week...Avoid hot and spicy food for a week... Must Take the medication without fail as prescribed by your dentists to avoid delayed healing...Do have multivitamin tablets along with it once daily  for a month which will also accelerate healing

Get your stitches removed in one week. After that, you can start chewing regular foods. Only thing is to ensure that you don't allow food to get stuck in that region... Medication as given by doctor seems fine for your given history.
Health Tips
follow the medications and the instructions as given by dr.
