Wisdom Tooth Decay.
I am having a decayed wisdom tooth right now and has been recommended to be extracted.I am not In my hometown right now and want to do the procedure only when I get back.But that will be after 4-5 months.Could anyone please let me know what all do I have to do to keep the tooth clean and keep the Infection from spreading?Also,will It be harmful?

Visit a dentist. Extract it.it is not advisable to keep it.because 4;5 months is long duration. You may required to have medicine when ever you get pain.

No , you can just keep brushing properly nd can delay the extraction for next few months...also rinse every time you have something sweet or sticky .....
