Wisdom teeth extraction
Is wisdom teeth extraction painful. I am very scared about the procedure and sit on dental chair and after watching several videos on youtube i am getting more nervous ..is it necessary to get it removed 😭😭

Whether it is necessary or not can only be told after a clinical examination supported with radiographic evidence. About the pain, the procedure is done under a local anaesthetic, so mild discomfort while removal may be there. Also when the anesthetic wears off, pain might be there so your dentist may prescribe you medications.
The severity of the pain may vary from patient to patient depending on the amount of bone removal required to remove the impacted wisdom tooth.

Firstly don't scared about it.. It's minor surgical procedure done under local anaesthesia..
Necessity to remove depends on the condition of wisdom tooth n what type of trouble u r feeling. If u r feeling very severe pain n difficulty to open the mouth or any type of ulceration bz of wisdom tooth thn definetely go for extraction...

but firstly go for IOPA( x ray of tooth)

Hello..
If an extraction is advised to you then you should definitely get the tooth extracted.
The procedure is not painful as it is done under local anaesthesia but you can have mild discomfort afterwards for a day or two for which medication will be given to you.
Rest need not worry...go for it

Hello .... Firstly pls don't be scared as wisdom tooth removal is a minor procedure which is done under local anaesthesia .
Pls do not get influenced by videos as the procedure done is carried out with utmost care .
Whether or not the tooth extraction is necessary can only be told
after examination by the doctor .
