The injection is a GNRH Analogue ,to be given under very specific conditions like endometriosis or fibroids.it causes profound pituitary suppression and hence D17 injection in your case can lead to early luteolysis.so the came cycle menses will come early .however the next 2 cycles can be delayed with less bleeding and depending on dose can lead to amenorrhea as well
