Why does my gums bleed while brushing

Hello, I am a 16 year old guy. I exercise a lot and also play sports and eat healthy. I do not have any bad habits and always brush my teeth 2 times a day. But still then, why does my gums bleed while brushing. Is it a disease? What do I do?
