Every morning, since the past 5 days, I experience blood in cough. I don’t understand the reason behind this. I neither feel sick nor have faced any headaches. Can a medical practitioner please tell me why do I get blood in cough in morning first time? Your able guidance will prove extremely beneficial for me. I have scheduled a doctor’s appointment as well.

Hello,
It sounds like a throat infection. Sometimes vigorous coughing can irritate the mucosa in the throat region causing it to get ulcerated and small drops of blood may come out due to cough. Please consult an ent.
