Why do i feel difficulty in breathing while lying down
I am a daughter of a 60 year old lady, she is home bound. Recently since a week, she has difficulty in breathing while lying down. She has to wake up frequently. Why does she have this difficulty in breathing while lying down? Is this some major issue? Is this some permanent problem?

It is likely to have a cardiac or respiratory involvement. I would advise you to visit a MD general medicine so that you can be examined and undergo investigations such as CBC, ECHO, ECG, X-Ray, etc to find the underlying cause and have it treated accordingly.
