White spots on face
Hi, My daughter is 12 years old, there is white spot on her face, it's not that prominent but it is there. Just wanted to check the causes and treatment for the same. Thanks !

Hi..there can be many causes of white spots over face in this age. Most common being Pityriasis alba which is slight hypopigmented scaly patch basically due to dryness..if that is the cause no need to worry you can use a good moisturiser like cetaphil moisturising lotion twice daily. But we need to rule out other causes of white spots also..so please consult a dermatologist who will diagnose it and you will get to know the exact cause and it's treatment
