White patches on tongue

White or transparent patches on tongue, sensitive to cold substance like ice cream n even to chilled water,  dnt knw exactly wht it is bt is it normal geographical tongue or anything else? I dont eat much spicy or hot chilly food. Should I go to dentist or ent Dr.Or its absolutely normal?

There are lot of cause's for white patches on tongue from viral infection to vitamin deficiency and could be normal geographic tongue. so visit a dentist to rule out the cause.
