White patches on skin
Hi, Some white spots( small and circular in shape) start appearing on my neck and now they also started on my back and stomach. Sometimes it start itching. They are white in color and not red. Please let me know what could be the reason. I consulted the doctor and she recommended the cream - Luliconazole cream. I am using it but there is no improvement. Please let me know what could be the reason and how can I get rid of it. Thanks.

It could be P. Versicolor. Don't worry it  takes 2-3 months for colour to become normal.

The condition ur having from the discription u have given is A common fungal infection that causes small, discoloured patches of skin. It's called Pityriasis versicolor. It is caused by an overgrowth of yeast on the skin. It most often affects teens and young adults. The condition isn't contagious. It requires a minimum of 3-4 months of treatment.  Topical application with oral anti fungals is what is needed. Consult a Dermatologist for the same
