Hello this seems to be a chronic inflammatory skin condition called oral lichen planus or it could be a more severe lesion called oral hairy leukoplakia. It has to be examined first to be able to diagnose and treat accordingly . Since it has been there for 8 months duration, it’s better to see a Dermatologist at the earliest to avoid complications.
