Iam suffering white coating on my tongue full over 1 year right now. I don't have any irritation like Burning or pain or loss of taste or nothing in tongue. Only this white coating. And I went a clinic today, one of the ENT doctor check my mouth and tongue, and he said it's "Pappilae". No need to worry, it's not disease or nothing. And he prescribed me "Betakind mouthwash". But I googled about white coating, they say it's "Oral thrush". Please tell me doctor Actually what's my tongue on white?

Oral thrush is more common in old age and people with low immunity and it causes burning in mouth, difficulty in eating and sometimes loss of taste
As the ENT doctor has confirmed it to be as pappilae no need to worry.
