White coat syndrome
My doctor told me I have white coat syndrome related about my BP. My BP level is changing in minutes. Sometimes I have normal BP, Sometimes My BP level is elevated, Sometimes My BP level Is stage 1&2 level. I have very anxiety during checking my BP. I have already health anxiety issue also. Is this White Coat Syndrome? If it's how to get relief from this situation? Can I take diet or exercise? My weight is 57 and Age is 25. Kindly please respond my questions :)

It seems to be anxiety spectrum disorder. Need a more detailed history. If it has been persisting for some time, you are in need of treatment. Either pharmacological or psychological depends on the severity.

I would advice you to clarify with your physician whether you have hypertension or not? If you have hypertension then you need treatment for that. If your physician clarifies that you do not have hypertension then you have to try and trust his opinion. Do not check your BP often as it can increase your anxiety levels. You can check once in couple of months as a screening. Consult a psychiatrist for health anxiety and most of the times you will require medications to help your anxiety disorder in addition to psychological help. Best wishes

Hi there, A detailed medical and psychiatric history is always needed for every patient.In addition to that, a detailed mental status examination is also recommended for every patient. Anxiety related to doctors in white coats can happen but generally settles down when a rapport happens between them. In addition, there is need to get some of the medical tests to be conducted to rule out some conditions where BP can fluctuate.

It's Anxiety, need to do daily exercise, avoid tea or caffeine excess as they will increase your anxiety and do JPMR exercise twice daily and we I'll start your message for short time you will be perfectly fine
