Which medicine is better for Diabetes
I Have been diagnosed with Type diabetes in March 2021 and then  prescribed with Today hba1c is 6.8 Fasting 139 Remo-v tablet twice a day which contain " Remogliflozin Etabonate100mg Vildagliptin 50mg " However during my sinus surgery Dr. Said I should not take this medicine and should take "Glyciphage 500mg " which contains only " Metformin" When I consult with Dr. He is recommending to take Remo-MV which contain these three in it .I.e combination of RemoV and Metformin in it . Can anyone suggest which one is best and why should I take that ? Remogliflozin Etabonate100mg Vildagliptin 50mg Metformin 500mg Remo-Mv

Probably your sugar levels were not in the expected range while you were on plain metformin tablets and hence he would have thought it apt to add on a drug , in your case Remogliflozin
